I've shot Hoyts since 2005. I just like how they feel. I right now have a Rx5 Ultra. I have a Black Gold Dual Trac with the Picatiny mount and also the integrated QAD rest. I'm going to play with Stabilizer. Right now I just have the Short Shot stabilizer on. It looks like you have a simple but effective setup.
Bet everyone is stir crazy waiting for Lanai to open back up- good to see you can still get out to chase some game. Interesting you’re able to shoot just as accurate “long range” with and without your quiver. Had tested that a lot hunting out west and found I would be off some if I took the quiver off. Anyways- stay safe and fingers crossed the open up lanai soon.
I prefer the quiver off for sure. But, if I commit to a faster execution with the quiver on, I don’t see a whole lot of variation. If I take longer execution, I guess the weight distribution, lean, etc affects my shot more at distance for sure.
Ryan- are you on any forums? Wanted to chat/email you off CZcams. Looking at coming out to Kona end of February for a bit before jumping to lanai to try and stick a big velvet. Had a couple questions from a seasoned Hawaiian hunter. Josh

Hi Ryan. Great information, curious to know what release you use?
I currently use a truball fulkrum flex for my hinge release and a nock2it and truball blade for a thumb button.
