would like to get a Silverback for hunting...but hanging on to one in the cold while hunting is a major concern and limits it's use to good weather/target. Thanks for the video!

What strap you have with that Back Strap? I don’t mind the boa but I don’t like the inconsistency of turning the dial and the inside has a rough spot that chews up my wrist.

Hey man just found your channel, do you think the silverback is a good choice for hunting? I am currently using a thumb button but I’m having a punching problem, wondering if the silverback will help

I just got the Backstrap and I'm a right hand shooter. I've experienced the same thing. I shoot about 2" to the left. I'm not sure if it's my form though. I think my follow through with my shooting arm might not be right. The more I shoot this release the more shots get closer to the center. I also think its hard not to pull with the trigger, and only pull on the strap on my wrist. I think when I get more time with it, it will make me a better shooter.

I think the backstrap jaws open differently in trigger mode vs tension mode and this causes the string path to be different on firing causing the point of impact difference. I think it is a big of a drawback of the system that probably could be improved later but no one is really talking about it yet I think. Marketing perhaps.

Great video! Damn, now I wish I picked up the Silverback...maybe I'll have to get both, lol. Where do you think the variation between the Backstrap modes is coming from? My initial guess is the set screw might be changing the jaw release speed, with the trigger mode slapping the jaw open instantly vs resistance mode having a tiny bit of "creep" when pulling the jaw open. Or maybe pulling on the lever ends up torquing the release? I wonder if adjusting my form to focus on pulling with my wrist and avoid finger pulling would minimize the difference.

Hey man, I just moved to the island for university and wanted to get some public land bow hunting in. I was wondering how the public land hunting works. I looked on the DLNR website and it was showing game checking stations and different zones specific hunting times. I’ve also seen videos of people hunting certain zones where they had a specific time slot in the day to go out. I was wondering where you can find information on where to register for those time slots and how the game checking stations work?

I think perhaps your draw length is too long by the looks of your front elbow being hyper extended. This will cause your follow through to not be straight back and make the right and left variation you experienced. Elk Shape has a vid on it with MFJJ. hope this helps, thanks for the content
