There is a lot riding on the shoulders of very young players if that side is even close to what is out on the park in three years. I would bet on maybe only 15 of that 24 actually running out on day 1 2026. Clarkson is very good at finding specific players who can add to a growing team but there will be constant turnover.

being a young player at North right now is either exciting or a bit scary, a lot of positions up for grabs, I think the real competitors of that group will rise to the top and some of the lesser players will probably get cut, reminds me of the crows in 2019 and 2020 where we gave a lot of kids games and the better competitors just made it work and now we are known for being a side which always competes, north could be that soon.

Yep 100% and we're seering it start to happen already, with solid footballers like Curtis Taylor already getting pushed out. Comp for spots has not been an issue at North for 4-5 years but appears to be changing finally

Charlie Comben is a competitive beast and will do very well down back. If not, at present and in 2027 should be well ahead of Maley if playing forward. Other than that, good list, but I'd bet my house on George being a gun of the league. I expect Goad to be around the mark in 27 also.

George Wardlaw or Brayden George? I think both will depend on injuries same with LDU……being healthy is essential for us to climb the ladder

By 2027 I would hope that Comben is over his injury woes and has locked in a spot either at CHB or CHF. I also think that Bergman and Ford showed late last season that they are good enough to hold down a spot in our best 23. I will be disappointed if LMac is still in our best 23 by 2027, he has been a wonderful servant of the club, but I feel his limitations will see him surpassed by the likes of Hardeman and Archer in our back six..

Luke Mc will not be best twenty two in three years, if he is then North won't have improved in that time. His spot will go to Miller Bergman. Of course there will be new team additions and axings which makes the forecast somewhat unclear. Goad hopefully will be the no 1 ruck but that call might be a touch early. Comben's injury history makes it very difficult to see where he will be in three years. A good effort 👍

With this bunch if it starts to click watch the F out rest of the comp. There's list depth at last.

What would be more efficient is if u recorded a section where u talk about what the numbers mean and just transfer it to the start of every video. There’s like 10+ teams left Jesse😂

    North are pretty much set.
In fact, they will probably lose good players that won't get regular senior games. Comben (CHF) is the only real question mark that I can see, but Duursma, Ford & George all add marking power.
    B: McDonald, W. Dawson, Hardeman
    HB: McKercher, Logue, Sheezel
    C: Scott, Davies-Uniake, Simpkin
    HF: Zurhaar, Comben, Stephenson
    F: Curtis, Larkey, Duursma
    R: Xerri, Thomas, Wardlaw
Int: Phillips, Goad, George, Ford, Stephens
E: Powell, Goater, Harvey, Lazzaro, Fisher, K. Dawson, Coleman-Jones

Missing Chom Comben who by then should be a lock at either CHF or CHB. North will be Premiers in 2027 just you wait and see, just like the club song predicts.

Love your content but lack of knowledge here. Comben will either be CHB or CHF if his move back doesn’t stick.

    Nice team for 2027.
Jy should be on the field instead of Curtis, no doubt. Far better player. Even for next year, Jy should be on the field not ic. He is a captain after all.
Also, on Clarko’s first day at North, he did warn the players that he was looking for players that can not only play finals and win them, but players that can perform on GF day and win the cup.
Clarko wasn’t mucking around and the club got rid of about 25% of players this year. The players should heed his warnings.
Nice content and I appreciate your hectic work effort.
