Hello. I would like to review this recipe, hoping it helps out others. I tried this cake yesterday. The recipe is quiet long. But the process was easy peesy. Make sure to add the Ingredients in correct measurements. It took exactly 40 mins for me to bake. The taste was dense, and rich filled with chocolate goodness. The sponge is soft even the next day. Here's my review on this recipe, I did this with some advancements, I added only 1.5 tsps of coffee to it and a bit less cocoa powder. One thing I probably don't recommend doing is not beating the cake with a beater it releases gluten of the flour which gives the cake a dense texture. The chocolate syrup is too extravagant in my thoughts I made a simple sugar syrup and it worked all the best! Everything else,I followed according to the recipe and it turned out really good don't want to elaborate everyone else's opinions but I liked it alot I think it had the perfect amount of "meetha" and it's the most I've ever eaten of a cake (after my most favorite cake which always comes 1st).

Yesterday I tried this recipe and honestly it was amazing!! But I didn't make the frosting like this first chill your non dairy cream in the freezer for 24 hours and whip it and add 3 to 4 tbsp of crushed sugar then 3 tbsp of cocopowder then vanilla essence and then add chocolate syrup that's it trust me it will be amazing ❤

@@madihatahir1217 It's better to use Crave's compound Chocolate (semi-chocolate). It's available in dark chocolate and simple chocolate as well. It's good.
The cake is indeed very moist. Not too sweet either. There are a few things I would do differently though. The 8 inch pan turned out to be too small. I needed a 9 inch pan. I did not make the chocolate syrup. The cake did not need it. Also, do not refrigerate the frosting after mixing in the whipping cream! It turns rock hard. Instead, try to whip it immediately after taking the chocolate off the water bath and letting it cool a bit. Make sure the whipping cream is refrigerated. I used Candyland chocolate compound and whipy whip cream. Another problem is assembly. I would recommend layering all three layers separately and refrigerating them before stacking them. Otherwise, the frosting squeezes out of the bottom layer because it is too soft.

Whipping cream of which brand did you use in this cake? I use olpers cream but when I blend it, its consistency doesn't get thick. :(
