Milk - ½cup (120ml)
Vanilla essence - 1tsp
Hot water - ½cup (120ml)
Dark Chocolate - 200g
Heavy cream - 150ml

This is the best recipe I have ever tried. The quantity and ingredients mentioned are just perfect! Baked this cake around 10 times now and it has been perfect always! If you are using a microwave oven then just bake it for 5-6mins only (can stop in between and check if required) *depends on the temperature of your microwave too.

Could you please clarify whether you added as much hot water as in the recipe, since the batter looks runny?
@@nishapeter5051 I don't add in the whole portion, i add a little at a time until i get a smooth batter (not to runny but not to thick). Hope this helps :)

I made this cake today and it came out so well. This is my first cake in an oven and so happy that it's just perfect. My whole family liked it alot. When your adding the water I would recommend putting it in small quantities so it wont be super hard to mix 💕

Have you follow the same recipe? Am confuse coco powder ratio as compared to flour is too much, before this i have tried some other recipe my cake was bitter in taste and I was really disappointed

How to double the quantity ? Like its one cup flour if i want to make 2 cup i have to increase same ratio for dry ingredients and liquid?

I made this yesterday for my birthday and it was really really easy. Like a no fail cake recipe ❤ I've deducted a quarter cup of sugar though since my family doesn't like it too sweet. My first cake that actually tastes and looks like a cake. I've used 2 6-inch round pans though. I didn't follow the 200 grams chocolate for the ganache since I was worried that it will be too sweet so the consistency of the ganache was a little thin. But still tastes really good! Thank you!

Made this today and it’s sooo moist I was in disbelief!! I baked it at 145 degrees for 40-50 minutes so that it didn’t create a dome and it rose pretty well 🥰 thanks for the recipe!
I wouldn’t really recommend it for high stacked cakes tho such as wedding cakes because it’s extremely moist & fragile (which is good 90% of the time) but for tall cakes the structure is just as important hehe.
