Everton fan here, Great video, really interesting to see other fans perspectives, most fans want us down because of the club size and away days being good which is fair enough, but that Leeds fan... my oh my, even if We had our points deduction last season, Leicester would have stayed up instead of us so I don't really see his point, just sour grapes and i HOPE Leeds throw the playoffs, I'll be supporting Norwich City tonight. Nasty fans Leeds fans are, and delusional are most of them.

Two of the players we actually wanted from that squad, Garner - United wouldn't sell until we already sensibly lined up replacements in his position and Spence who chose Spurs.
Samba wanted to return to France. Davis, Zinkernagel and Lowe were on loan. Figeuredo's contract expired.
There's 7 players off the top of my head who were all a huge part of Forest going up that we had no say in keeping really.
Forest were 23 years outside the Premier League and managed to go up and stay up without help from parachute payment or PSR/FFP margins being higher.
Forest are the club every Championship club outside the Yo-Yo cartel should aspire to be like, instead of having a small mentality of "shouldn't throw money at it" and thinking it hasn't work when clearly it has.

That Leeds fan showing his lack of knowledge, EFC building a "New" stadium is why they had an overspend nothing to do with buying players and wages even the Commission (chaired by an QC who worked for Leeds U FC in the past) stated "No sporting advantage was gained" so he really needs to educate himself with the facts not the fiction.

@@ChampionshipTerraceTalk yeah but you got to remember we haven’t been in the prem for 20+ years so the play off final was our main experience with VAR, now we deal with it week in week out and realised how corrupt it can be

The leeds fan … suggesting Forest should have points deductions last year 😂 like… when the books weren’t closed ?! Everton maybe should have had it’s charges done last year, but Forest are the first team in the history of the Prem to comply with the Prem and have our charges and points deductions dealt with in the same year. Our late sale of Brennan Johnson didn’t affect leeds at all… leeds were already relegated.

The Ipswich fan couldnt be more wrong about Forest, we had a squad of loan players who went back to their parent clubs, we were left with a third of a squad worth 12m, we had to buy a new squad or go straight back down.

Forest had no choice but to buy players as half of existing team was loanees - hence Burnley , Sheff and Luton struggling and looking to be back down - top teams have all best players as have spending power we invested heavily in younger relatively inexperienced players for prem and surviing by skin of our teeth thanks to supportive and generous owner..
Well said - but even as a Forest fan, it seemed like a scatter-gun approach in summer 2022......and here we are 2 years later and we have 11 players out of contract next Month and will probably need to sign a further 6 or 7 (and SELL 3 or 4)
@@rjw4762 yep - we’ll be looking to cash in on a lot of deadwood and a few seasoned players I’m afraid to avoid PSR etc again and buying a few young up-comers again and a decent striker - but we also need a player with a brain and authority in CDM position to command on field instead of panic free for all under pressure…….
21 players left, 7 of whom were first 11. They had to build a new team and one capable of staying in the Prem. It sort of worked because Forest went on to have a pretty horific injury list.

Nottingham Forest are staying up...Going to be a few disappointed people on here, but there you go....and to be fair, as a Forest fan I actually love the Championship, and while I admit that I would have been a bit disappointed had we gone down, I wouldn't have been too disappointed, no VAR in the Championship and a much more evenly matched league in my opinion.

I might add it was amusing that the Birmingham fan who wanted Everton to be relegated so they could play them next season is now resigned to realising the respective clubs will be two divisions apart next season!
Everton fan, interesting views, some sad, some understandable, regarding away days. The Leeds fans is one of the sad ones. A club universally hated. I remember their good teams, but even they were dirty and the fans are knuckle-draggers with the worst songs in the UK.
Also Leeds would have gone down last season even if we had been hit by deductions then.
Incidentally the points deductions had never been done before in the PL and never will be done under the same criteria. Man City will not get their titles removed because we all know the PL and Sky have it all stitched-up.

Being a blade we new we weren't good enough from day one cos we went up from a poor championship then sold two of our best player & have a chairman that's not interested in the club.

In the Championship 2 clubs I have a lot of respect for are Sunderland and West Brom.
West Brom fans have always seemed fair and not arrogant whenever ive encountered them. Disappointing to hear the West Brom fan choose us 🤣

To the Ipswich fan regarding Nottingham Forest. Don't you realise the majority of the players that got them up were on loan. They had to buy players to even have a team. They might have struggled, but they are still in the Prem. Unlike Burnley, who spent £100m and went down without a whimper.
If you think Ipswich will survive without spending big, think again. And don't forget you'll be limited on your spending with FFP.

Leeds fan crying about Forest when our breech had no impact on their season (remembering we overspent by £94m when the rest of the PL teams were permitted £105m). Ipswich fan clueless, making players redundant overnight, they were loan players, ie not ours and therefore went back to their parent clubs.

We did the unthinkable and didn't do what a lot of them would have preferred namely to disappear back to the lower reaches of League One or Two after a few years in The Championship.
