The second in a three-part video series, I continue my review of Jesse Fink’s book Bon The Last Highway and dive even deeper into the “Bon Scott Wrote Back In Black” conspiracy theory. I hit such topics as: the definition of hearsay; oral testimony from an ex manager, the Scott family, a rock singer’s widow and a UFO guitarist; "Back in [the] Black" and Fink’s focus on “the greatest hits”; Bon Scott and Brian Johnson’s musical output in their pre AC/DC bands; the differences between Bon and Brian’s lyrics; and finally I address the snobbery of “Bon Only” AC/DC fans…!!!

Yeah, I read it in the fan group he's harassing. I never saw it here because CZcams -- despite me having "remove negative comments" switched off -- still monitors and removes more inflammatory comments (hate speech or threats fall under this). The comment makes Jesse look really bad, so CZcams is actually doing him a favor. Funny, he takes a crack at the lack of credits I have on iMDB. He should move to LA, I think he'd fit right in. 👍🏼
We both know that’s not true. How embarrassing for you. If his comments were removed by CZcams he wouldn’t be able to provide screenshots showing them still in place from his browser.

@@Violasobriquet CZcams removed his comment because he used aggressive language. It had nothing to do with me. Personally, I want everyone to see Jesse acting out. And you know what's really embarrassing? Me taking a screenshot of Jesse's rant against me he posted on an AC/DC fan site in which he makes several personal attacks and spins his latest false narratives ("I deleted his comments"). He keeps giving me great material for videos. He's a top bloke! 😉👍🏼

You should apply for a job with TMZ. It will pay more than your scriptwriting ever will. Check your SEO analytics and see how well the name Jesse Fink is doing for you. Fink is the opposite of you. He did the work. I bought the book like lots of people did and loved it. If you disagree with him so much and have so much knowledge on the subject, you write a book. Where can we buy it? Put my name on the waiting list.
Actually these recent videos have been doing well but I did an Alice Cooper video right before that did just as well and I have many that have done better and without any trace of controversy. In fact, my most popular video is a Beginner's Guide to the Melvins, which is currently at 50k views. Plus, I reached over a 1.2 k subscribers before ever mentioning Fink's name or his book. Plus unlike Fink, I don't do this for money. I have a day job and it is writing (there are other forms of professional writing that don't involve muckraking and penning books). I don't have the time or desire to write a book and why would I? It wouldn't sell nearly as well as Fink's because it'd simply be a writer making the claim that the credited songwriters on an album are -- gasp -- the credited songwriters! 😅 Not too much controversey there. The only reason these recent videos of mine are controversial is because Fink and his gang are purposely stirring up controversey by bombarding me with comments like yours because that's how he makes his money. I hope you're getting a cut of his book sales: you've been putting in the work, man. 👍🏼

Yeah, I did notice that actually. More evidence of a Geordie influence on AC/DC? 🤔 I noticed from Black Ice on, there have a been a handful of songs with a more Geordie-ish vibe and Brian's been singing a bit more in that style, especially on PWR/UP.

Angus is quoted saying Bon did actually write some of the lyrics on BIB. Bon wouldn’t care anyway so chill, he’d just be happy that what he in part launched such an iconic band. Bons lyrics are better anyway. 🩸⚡️👍

Excellent take Edwin. Always felt the same in the sense that Brian and Bon shared the same writing partners in the Young brothers, it's not insane to think he would be able to write something like BIB and it be such an AC/DC sounding record. Bon was a big part to the sound, yes, but he wasn't the entire sound. Brian wrote the record WITH Malcolm and Angus just like Bon would have. I think their contributions get a bit overlooked in that regard. Your example of Geordie and Fraternity was an excellent counter that totally aligns with this mindset. AC/DC is the sum of all parts so to speak, they are greater together than apart.

My honist reply is, Literally it's more Bon Scott because had he not come to see a 14-year-old kid in UCLA PICU on May 22-23 1979, ACDC would have never gotten The majority of the albums ( there older songs are mixed into the albums so the albums are not 100% my songs only the majority are, AND even the songs I Titled and gave lyrics to are also in Fact Bon as well, WE DID THEM TOGETHER ❤️)

Myself to me, Bon Scott Literally saved my life by giving me the Hope, & fighting spirit a super will to live, Bon Loved my Titles and my lyrics so much he wanted me to write with him in the future, HEAR THIS, I was only 14-years-old and going into a surgery that never had a survivor a 100% mortality rate before me. My parents couldn't handle it and
abandoned me at the hospital they just dropped me off and left me there !! Abandoned to die alone, I was so depressed, I felt so defeated, no way to face a surgery like that, it's the Nurses in PICU that all gathered around trying everything to get me more positive, then they asked if there was anyone I wanted to meet. I had a grip of Rock Songs I had written in Creative Writing class, so I thought I wonder if they where good enough to actually do, so I asked Does anybody know a RockStar ? One nurse got big eyes and went out she came back and said " where going to a party and Bon Scott will be there will he do ? I'd never heard of him but ok, tell him this will be a working visit and to bring a recorder .
I didn't sleep very well that night, my mind raced thinking of Literally everything, here I was, I'm going to die like a convinced criminal being put down and all I did was get in a swing accident.
Next morning, Bon Scott walked in with a HOT CHICK IN A ADULT CANDYSTRIPER OUTFIT , WOW 👌
Things were looking up !!
Her name was Silver Smith she was the Recorder she knew Short-hand and could write as fast as you could talk.
Bon & Her walk in and Bon says ,
Hi I'm Bon Scott from ACDC, I SAID NEVER HEARD OF YOU !! (Lol)
I said " Look what happened to me as I lifted my gown and showed him my Big swollen huge Balls , I said Wanna Feel em everyone else does , referring to the Dr.s, Silver screamed and I looked at her & Bon Literally reached down and did the Mr Whipple to my Balls !! OMG I got a shock as I didn't expect him to do that !! But it was at that moment I realized he was the Right RockStar !! I had Bon write down some Titles of songs I had written he used the Back of a envelope
Highway to Hell, Touch too Much, Shot Down in Flames, TNT, and a few others, Silver Smith got a stack of paper and set only one ruel that was Bon & I couldn't talk over each other. We had to take turns talking.
Silver Smith wrote almost everything Bon & I said to each other, after about 5 minutes I stopped her and I had her write the Time on the top of the first page for reference of how fast we did the songs my objective was 30 songs because in Roman numbers it's XXX and my Injury was well sexual Big Balls right, anyway Bon got me out of my Deathbed and we started joking around and he had me Literally laughing & sining & dancing around my deathbed, where only minutes before I was crying 😢 defeated getting ready to meet my maker... Silver wrote down everything the conversations between the songs virtually every word, the surgeon's actually delayed my surgery because of Bon & Silvers visit, They where turning my attitude around big-time ( this ended up a key factor in my survival ) Bon Loved my songs so much that we made plans for me to write with him, Bon wanted to create his own band called Bon Fire that he wanted to Open for ACDC then sing his part in ACDC Stopping about the halfway point where ACDC 2nd lead singer would Finnish with ACDC while Bon would go out and mingle with the Fans, Bon wanted TWO CHECKS FOR EVERY CONCERT !! DOUBLE PAY !! FOR DOUBLE TIME !!
This is a huge Backstory and the songs all have their own backstory.
I wanted 1 million dollars plus compounded interest to the day I get paid for my end of the notes, they didn't have any money so I fronted the songs to Bon, today I believe I'm owed about 10 million dollars or more. But I don't think they are going to pay me... 😕 But Bon did save my life by promising to do my songs exactly as we laid them out, that made me want to hear them done giving me the super will to live.. thus I survived.. Key here is Bon's last greatest laughter was over Doing The Back in Black Album, We decided that I was going to write the Series after I survived my surgery.
You see for a song to get onto the album it had to be a number one song capable of carrying its own album with NO FILLER !! Every song on Back in Black is its own album, Hells Bells, Shoot to Thrill all of the except Back in Black, each album is 9 songs with the 10th being on Back in Black, less one song I gave to Joan Jett in 88 called I Hate Myself for Loving You off the Let Me Put My Love into You Album, I also gave her permission to redo my Dirty Deeds without the kill list... actually my favorite rendition of Dirty Deeds is Joan's version ,
There's allot to this, it's more than just me, it's a Together thing ,
I Wrote the other 9 albums and still have them , I never got paid for my first 30 songs actually ended up just over 30 songs, what I was thinking of doing is write a detailed book and because I doubt ACDC would allow me to use my own songs that the took but didn't pay for, I'm thinking of using the Undone 9 Albums as the sound track to a movie about what happened to me in my biography...
That way Fans will be able to see that The Names Have Been Changed To Protect the Guilty is me and its actually me and not the names on the albums as to who wrote what,
In the end it doesn't matter, if ACDC doesn't pay me I'll sell my storyand a movie , Fans will get a final Blast of The Real Ghostwriter of ACDC and Joan Jett...

Oh if you listen to ... Love at First Feel ( The Dirty Deed on the Dirty Deeds Album ) I Tiled the Love at First Feel and told Bon he had to write the song with 3 parameters
1 he had to make me laugh 😃
2 he had to sing it to me as if I was a girl.. (the twist of the title)
3 he had to admit to having my Balls at his fingertips...

@@Violasobriquet Fink wrote a diatribe containing personal insults that CZcams must've removed because it was inflammatory. Like I wrote before, I would love people to see it: it shows you who Jesse really is as a person.
It also shows that Jesse has no sense of humor when it comes to people roasting him and the people he interviewed (all of whom were making baseless accusations and insinuations against a band that no longer had anything to do with them and millions of people love). Yet he can take cheap shots at a 70-something man's voice and make his little Andy Capp comments about Brian (and accuse him of being a songwriting thief along with the Young Brothers). Now this is where you insult me and declare Brian Johnson and post Bon AC/DC are subpar.

It’s absurd that he’d believe a bunch of losers over a prestigious engineer, Brian Johnson, the Young brothers and many others. It’s beyond insulting. It’s one thing if he had credible people that were close to the band making accusations but all this nonsensical hearsay had no business being presented in a book. It’s irresponsible.

And this is after the band stopped working with top producers and didn't have to try as hard. Anyway, this isn't evidence of anything: it's your music opinion. You don't like Fly on the Wall, therefore you think Brian couldn't have cowritten lyrics on Back In Black. So Red Rose Speedway and Sometime in New York City aren't on par with Abbey Road, does that mean Lennon and McCartney weren't really writing in the Beatles? Anyway, Fly on the Wall is a really fun and catchy album. It also features Angus's best solos post Let There Be Rock IMO.

There are probably some fragments on FOTS and FTATR. At any rate, if you can't see the difference you're an absolute nutcase.

I have read Jesse’s book cover to cover. Your reconstructed version of Jesse’s account is COMPLETELY WRONG. THE numerous people who actually knew Bon and all commented that he had a HUGE part in writing those lyrics is convincing enough for me. Your heresay analysis does not support that all these people were involved in lies, or reconstructing the truth. Mr. Lovegrove would have had nothing to gain from commenting that Bon’s brother told him he wrote Back in Black. Your debate regarding Holly X’s horse doubletime and her eye color does not make a dent in Jesse’s analysis since SIGHTLESS EYES, makes absolutely no sense in the context of that song. It is a massive sore thumb in the song. Oh and please do not call people names like meathead when you refer to people in the music biz, it makes you look very unprofessional. Nice try on this but absolutely not convincing me one bit.
I also read the book cover to cover: twice. Obviously people are going to interpret things differently as we do. Re: Lovegrove. I wasn't suggesting he had anything to gain by spreading the rumor that Bon's family received royalties; I was suggesting he was just being spiteful and trying to subtly diminish Brian's role in AC/DC's biggest album (since he obviously had bad feelings about the man). Regardless, like I said in the video, even if the Scott family did receive royalties, I don't think there'd be anything suspicious about it for the reasons I stated. Yes, an ex groupie who couldn't provide a photo of her with Bon or any substantial evidence claims Bon wrote the song in 1979 (when he was struggling with lyrics during the early, Eddie Kramer HTH sessions) and it was inspired by her eye color and a horse named "Doubletime" makes sense to you? As opposed to Tony Platt's detailed account of the songwriting session for YSMANL? And on one hand many of you accuse Brian of writing subpar, nonsensical lyrics post BIB, but you can't imagine he might've written a few lines that were just there to rhyme (e.g., "sightless eyes"). Brian wrote in a fragmented style in which he picked words due to their sound or the mood they evoked. So to me, the inclusion of "sightless eyes" is further proof of Brian's involvement. And finally, you're telling me Chapman's statements weren't meatheaded? Come on. If you're going to talk a lot of stupid bullshit about a band that achieved things you never achieved, you have it coming IMO. Pattee Bishop, who does have a photo of herself with Bon and another photo of herself with Cliff Williams, says on the record that she went to a party of Holly's where Bon was with Holly. Why would she lie? Michael Fazzolare, David Owen and the other guys in Critical Mass all said Bon was with Holly. Why would they lie? Yet dismiss her outright. At no point in the book do I say Bon wrote all of the lyrics on "Back in Black" and I have never said that. Where the hell did you get that from? You've completely misrepresented my work, smeared the people who were kind enough to talk to me about their friend, and outed yourself as a vindictive troll. Well done. Great job.
