It also depends on the fit you want, some want the boot to fit tighter, some looser. And bear in mind the size of your foot increases during the day. A boot that fits you perfectly in the morning can be tight on you at night. I always buy the boot a touch big and take up the room with a thicker western boot sock. That way the boot is a tiny bit too big in the mornings but fits just right later in the day. And be sure to wear the same socks you plan to wear with the boots when you try them on. The thickness or thinness of the western boot sock makes a BIG difference in the fit.

      Hi David,
Sometimes boots that start off tight across the top of the foot usually will relax after a few uses. However, we don't want you to be uncomfortable! So, if it's just a little too tight, you may need a wide boot which is the EE size. Also, unlike tennis shoes, it's very common for a correctly sized boot to have a 1/4 to 1/2 inch slippage in the heel when you walk. If that is what you are experiencing when you size up then that actually may be the correct size for you. Hopefully that helped!

This helps me a lot. I have a older pair of boots but I have learned that as we age, our feet get longer. Thank you for the informative video

Sooo I’ve been going to western stores and apparently I fit well on sizes 6 1/2 & 7, but my shoe size is 8. Some people wear bigger sizes and it’s kinda throwing me off

My boots are my size and would fit if I could get them on, my foot can't get past the ankle part.

Hi Raven Austin! If you can't get your foot past the ankle portion, you probably need to go up a half or whole size in the shoe you ordered. Let me know if we can offer any other advice. ~Katie, RW

Thanks 4 the video! It can be a bit overwhelming wading through all the different options 4 women. Things like the brand differences & ratings, toe shapes, heights, lengths, functions & fashion trends. My Daddy was the go 2guy 4 everything boot related, right now I wish he were still around to help. Of course he'd say get off the computer and into a real boot shop where a human with experience & training could help. I'm in Colorado & his boot guy in in San Antonio, so I won't be in the area lol! Besides, I want 2 buy online bcuz of the selections & choices, so here I am & I gotta get it right! I say that because I have never been great at returning things that don't fit. I either forget all together (although this type of buy is a bit $$$ to forget lol), or a relative and/or friend swoops in to "take them off my hands," saying things like "please sugar, I insist, I wanna help save you from all that mess tryin' to send them back, to lord knows who and where," of course always at a slightly lower price than I paid bcuz it's a favor.... LOL! Not again thanks! This is very helpful, especially about the tightness on the top! I would never have considered that at all! Does anyone know if the Justin Gypsy line fits true to size. I wear a women's size 8 typically and have an almost flat arch. FYI I used to wear a 7.5 before i gave birth to my son 10 years ago. Ever since size 8 lol! Anyway any advice is very appreciated!!!! Thanks again! &

It's complicated for men also to find a good fitting pair of Western Boots... Don't buy until your very sure they fit properly. Dont be ashamed of taking your time to try many pair on before paying. Even if the worker try's to urge you into paying. There not wearing them, you are. So be sure they feel good and your style. Try many stores.

Jesus Christ is coming back soon! If you haven't had a personal relationship with god your creator, he's calling you to him and he loves you very much. He died on the cross for our sins, was buried and rose on the third day so we wouldn't be separated from god and experience eternal death (hell) he desires that we know him and be saved. If we repent (turn from our sins) and turn to god become born again, filled with his holy spirit and follow him he gives us eternal life with him. He brings hope to the hopeless, Healing to the brokenhearted, freedom to the captives, and can heal you and set you free. He sees everything and knows what you deal with. He's the only way to heaven. There is no other way in which man can be saved. If you die today where would you go?
