    This works super well, I can confirm that. I’ve recommended JK to many of my co workers and they have used this method and gotten perfectly fitting boots on the first go. Thanks guys for being a great business and helping us get boots

    At first i was confused at how you get the ball of the foot measured but then as I went back and rewatched I see he was pointing at the line of the tape measure than rounding the number to 11.
    Super easy and now time to place my order the only hard part is picking the leather I want because they are all nice.

    • @jkbootsusa
      @jkbootsusa  Před 3 měsíci

      When measuring the ball of the foot there will be no rounding up. In the video the ball measurement is a 10 1/2". On the graph the width is the number found on the vertical axis. You can see us input the 10 1/2" on the graph at 2:22 . If you have already placed your order and the sizing is off, no worries, please contact our customer service team at general@jkboots.com and we can help you from there 👍

    Question from the uk. Can you explain why after measuring a size 11 you then go down a size. I tend to go a little bigger so you have more room when your feet swell through the day. Thanks

    • @AppalachianLumberjack
      @AppalachianLumberjack Před 9 měsíci +1

      It's because our sizes aren't corresponding to the actual measure for instance a size 11 shoe will not measure 11 inches long it's stupid but welcome to America

      @@AppalachianLumberjack I usually wear 11/11.5 (Sneakers) and 10.5 (Boot). On the chart, I'm size 9/5E. Am I doing something wrong?

    • @allanblack8635
      @allanblack8635 Před 7 měsíci +1

      @e8tGrand83 no, they actually say on their website that you take your normal size and go down one for the jk boots. So that sounds correct. trust the system but lean to the bigger of 2 measurements. The boot with stretch with time to fit regardless or you can buy a boot stretcher to enhance the speed of the fit. All boots like this tend to have a horrible break in period. But in the end they become a custom boot that will fit oh so good.

      We apologize for any confusion. If your brannock size (length) is 9.5 on our printed sheet, and your width measurement is 10 5/8, then your JK Boot size will be 8.5 5e based on those measurements. Please shoot us a call at (509) 487-0154 and we can get you the perfect size 👍

    I've got all the measurements from the Brannock (Standing). So all I had to do was measure around the ball of the foot to figure out what I really needed was a 10EE-R and 9.5EE-L (3/16" length and 1/8" diameter difference). Bummer, now I have to pay for a mismatch.

    • @zygmuntthecacaokakistocrat6589

    • @gk5891
      @gk5891 Před rokem

      @@zygmuntthecacaokakistocrat6589 Normally mismatched sizes are an upcharge (although it's not an available option online so I will have to call). Acceptable would have been a set of standard 10EE 300X, if I'm going Custom O.T. acceptable isn't going to cut it, so they will be 10EE-R and 9.5EE-L. More to get the width ideal than because of the 1/6" length difference.
