I finally learned after all these years to try on every single jeans, pants, shirts I buy. I can take two wrangler 13mwz in 34×36 off the shelf and one pair I can't even zip and the other fits just right. It's crazy. I can almost go to 38 length but it's just too much stack.
Totally relate. Sadly, Wrangler are decent. Quality wise, this is why it happens. I wear a Filson raw denim jean often....not cut as well for an athletically shaped lower body, but, quality is good.
Thank you for making this video!! I wear the Wrangler advanced comfort cut And ariat M5 as well. I recently went up in size and length and couldn’t be happier with the gif and look!
Those wrangler cowboy cut are my favorite!!! I have about 5 pair!!! But Walmart has a good selection of jeans. The Levis selection they have in my town is awesome!! I also like the Cinche brand.
I generally stick with wranglers cowboy cut. Either in a traditional cowboy cut or 936 slim . I do have a pair of Magellan outdoor pants got from Academy, sports and outdoors, but those are just some. I don’t care what happened those pants. I just love my wranglers so much they go great with any boot and I sized up in length can I also two was a a 30 or 31 in length, but I found out that a 32 length does a whole lot better with boots especially if I’m sitting down, they don’t rise up too much or even at all and they look good because they stack. But I’m always gonna wear wranglers.
Personally I wear my cowboy cuts with wider boots majority of the time because I have a wide frame with short legs so the cowboy cuts tend to be to wide and drag the ground. I wear alot of slim straights including cinch, Wrangler, and Rock n' Roll Denim and they all fit different. My boot style is very diverse too so I can pretty much have atleast on jeans that will work with each boot. Overall the best fitting hace been the Rock n' Roll Denim revolver slim straights and especially the vintage 46 line bc they are just slightly wider at the leg opening but not to wide for most of my boots.
This was really really helpful dude… I’m built shorter and stockier and have had trouble with my cowboy cut sizing… I had to go 2 sizes up in the waist and two size’s in length to get that stacked looked.
I wear square toe boots because they're the most comfortable for my wide feet. All my jeans are, regardless of brand, are bootcut. And I always go up in length for a stack.
I'm 5'10 and I wear the wrangler cowboy cut jeans in 38 length with all my boots. I wear both the stockman heel and rider heel boots and the length of the jeans are just the right size for me, Standing or sitting in the saddle. Not too short or too long.
I use slim straight or straight jeans. Slim straight with my round toes and straight with square toes. The width of the bottom varies depending on brand but i stick with levis because i already know how they fit. 513 and 514 is my realm
GUYS WITH BIGGER LEGS: The Wrangler 20x01 Competition bootcut jeans are awesome with both regular J toe, broad or narrow square and cutter toes. I think they are usually 65-70 in price and they have the rubber waistband that grips your shirt and keeps it tucked. I don’t see people wearing them often but they are dang good jeans.
I usually can live with 32 in length but honestly with wranglers been thinking of having even more stack😂 I think the Levi’s 505 I got from the Costco bins run larger tho because it was 32x32 yet has quite a bit more stack
So I also love wrangler cowboy cut, and the slim fit cowboy cut. Being that I’m more of a tall slender build. But I’m looking at getting a pair of the wrangler retro slim fit bootcut. Just for something with a bit more give for more casual wear. Would you recommend I go one or two sizes up in length with those with a square toe boot. It seems like they definitely fan out more like a lot of boot cut. But we definitely don’t need them dragging or swallowing the boot lol.
I wear Ariat patriot sport, western square toe cowboy boots with Wrangler cowboy cut jeans, and they work really well for me. They don't show when I sit down and the jeans have a really good stack.
Hey man, I appreciate your insightful videos. Just got my first ever western boots - Tecovas The Earl in goat skin (brown) and another in calf (black). I also ordered two Tecovas Slim jeans...do you own any of their jeans? Would be nice if you could do a review on their apparel.
wow amazing tip honestly I needed this thanks. At I gotta ask a question how did you end up with your buckles? Honestly I’m kinda curios and I think it would be a cool video.
awesome videos brother! quick question. so you said you used to wear a 30 length. but now for the cowboy cut wranglers what length do you pick? i’m normally a 30w-32L and wondering whether i should get a 30-34 or a 30-36. thanks man! keep up the awesome content and God bless you :)
Very good information... I'm not a cowboy but I really like the square toe cowboy boots. Problem is none of my current jeans will go with a them. Not sure you can answer this other question but I'll ask it anyway I also like to wear pants in ripstop material with cargo pockets could you suggest a proper boot for that style?
didnt know the cowboy cut was a thing. recently got into western wear and the respect it gets overall from others in insane. just does something to you. but i've been watching a lot of Yellowstone and LOVE the style of the cowboy cut. been wanting that look for my jeans. Now i know where to look, and especially since my wedding is coming up soon!
So I wear the Wrangler straight leg jeans do too I have small feet unfortunately. But they are the only ones that stack up correctly after starching my jeans. If I wear a boot cut I look like I’m wearing bellbottoms trying to stack them. But I can wear a work boot with a boot cut and it works fine.
Hey buddy, love your videos. Can you do a video on your collection of pearl snap shirts? Btw where did you get that shirt? I may have to pick one up for myself. 🙂
Your videos are very helpful and may I suggest you trying Levi's 501 they're good for boots and believe me I wore the 501 with the square toe boots and the rounded toe boots .
The one pants you have to be careful with, and you have to sometimes size down one or two sizes in length and that is Cody James jeans when they say I stackable Jean they mean it there a long like you’re shopping in the skinny and tall section even though they just regular sizes
How far do you size up in the M5 so for example I wear a 35x32 in wrangler 936 (my normal size is 34x30) I size up to get the stack on my jeans right so with that being said how far would you size up in Ariat m5 straight jeans ? Appreciate your videos also I never knew i actually wore a 32 length jeans until I watched your videos I’d been wearing the wrong length since high school
8:43 Not to mention getting a ton of glue stuck on the full grain leather shaft. Have fun trying to wash that off and getting the conditioner to do it's job.
I love cowboy boots and fashion (shoes in particular) and I’ve been looking for a jean that fits straight over the boot. I hate when my jeans stack and don’t like the angle 📐 on the cowboy cut. It’s been a real hassle trying to find the right combination
Great video! I’m also 29x30 about 5’6”. Just purchased a pair of Ariat M1s and they fit perfectly! However I’m concerned that once I wash them they could shrink (length) what’re your thoughts? The 29x32s seemed a little too long
It’s be awesome if you could do a video for western style for taller guys. I’m 6’5 with a longer torso than legs. So I have no problem finding boots and and jeans buts it’s the tops I’m having trouble with. Any companies come to mind?
My new favorite style is wrangler retro straight leg was rocking the 01 . Side note for me and my comfort if I get them little longer it’s easier to bend etc , since wrangle or more of Strug fit plus a still get a good stack look
I like the look both ways but since my boots are primarily work boots i always shotgun my boots.unless i diggin a hole then i cant stand gettin dirt in my boot
I finally learned after all these years to try on every single jeans, pants, shirts I buy. I can take two wrangler 13mwz in 34×36 off the shelf and one pair I can't even zip and the other fits just right. It's crazy. I can almost go to 38 length but it's just too much stack.
You said it 💯 😊
Wrangler sizes their jeans really good or completely off, I also prefer the 13MWZ hands down. I usually wear a 36x38 because I'm 6ft 5in tall
Totally relate. Sadly, Wrangler are decent. Quality wise, this is why it happens. I wear a Filson raw denim jean often....not cut as well for an athletically shaped lower body, but, quality is good.
Thank you for making this video!!
I wear the Wrangler advanced comfort cut
And ariat M5 as well. I recently went up in size and length and couldn’t be happier with the gif and look!
Respect towards your craft dawg 💯✅
Those wrangler cowboy cut are my favorite!!! I have about 5 pair!!! But Walmart has a good selection of jeans. The Levis selection they have in my town is awesome!! I also like the Cinche brand.
Just getting into western wear at 39 yrs old. You videos are super helpful my man!!
In the same boat 😂😂😂
Really needed this.... you're the man. Keep going strong bro....
Wrangler silver edition jeans are my favorite that black label is so nice
I can agree. I love the Silver edition’s and honestly wish they would do more of the traditional colors with silver editions
I like the Levi's 527 with round toe boots. Also Wrangler retro slim bootcut. Look great
I generally stick with wranglers cowboy cut. Either in a traditional cowboy cut or 936 slim . I do have a pair of Magellan outdoor pants got from Academy, sports and outdoors, but those are just some. I don’t care what happened those pants. Awesome video. Unfortunately it took me long time figuring this out through my own journey of trial and error. You've earned a subscriber.
I like the Straight cut always !
This was really really helpful dude…
I’m built shorter and stockier and have had trouble with my cowboy cut sizing… I had to go 2 sizes up in the waist and two size’s in length to get that stacked looked.
Thank you . Stackin’ going fwd
Big fan man, thanks for posting that rujo video the Jake’s are my favorite boot now
I wear square toe boots because they're the most comfortable for my wide feet. All my jeans are, regardless of brand, are bootcut. And I always go up in length for a stack.
This is great, I never knew why the cowboy cut jeans never quite looked right with my broad square toe boots
If you haven't already done it, would be keen to see a vid comparing felt and straw cowboy hats
You really helped me with my jean dilemma haha. Thank you brother!
Definitely my fashion idol!
The M1s are the best I didn’t even know about them until this past weekend
Man I appreciate you.
I'm 5'10 and I wear the wrangler cowboy cut jeans in 38 length with all my boots. I wear both the stockman heel and rider heel boots and the length of the jeans are just the right size for me, Standing or sitting in the saddle. Not too short or too long.
Very well done and great information.
This video was perfect for me brother. I appreciate ya!
Awesome tutorial.
Thank you brother
I'm learning a lot watching this your video,just subscribed 👍 🔥 🔥 🔥
Awesome review. I like the WRANGLER® 20X® 02 COMPETITION SLIM JEAN. Great multi use jean; i wear them with ostrich r toe boots and converse.
Great video and you look great in your jeans sir!😊
Bro your a legend 🤘🏼
Thanks a lot 🐐
much needed topic that nobody wants to really talk about.
A very informative video & i enjoy it.
I use slim straight or straight jeans. Slim straight with my round toes and straight with square toes. The width of the bottom varies depending on brand but i stick with levis because i already know how they fit. 513 and 514 is my realm
Thanks for the info great video
God bless
i like western stiled stuff to!!!!!

I know you posted this 7 months ago, but thank you. Rubber waistband is a life saver
@@Glueeater26 I’m glad I could help!!
I usually can live with 32 in length but honestly with wranglers been thinking of having even more stack😂 I think the Levi’s 505 I got from the Costco bins run larger tho because it was 32x32 yet has quite a bit more stack
Thank you.

Helpful good video. Thanku sir
I'm a man and hate trying on jeans..but this man is correct 💯
You should really make a video about hats 🙏🏻💯 thanks
So I also love wrangler cowboy cut, and the slim fit cowboy cut. Being that I’m more of a tall slender build. But I’m looking at getting a pair of the wrangler retro slim fit bootcut. I’ve always dressed western I always feel like my struggle is shirts ! Especial when I’m tucking them in I feel wide !
I wear Ariat patriot sport, western square toe cowboy boots with Wrangler cowboy cut jeans, and they work really well for me. They don't show when I sit down and the jeans have a really good stack.

Damn needed to see this a long time ago couldn’t figure out why my cowboy cuts didn’t look right on my square toes…thanks brother
My go to are 40(or42 depending on make/style)x34
That shirt you're wearing is fire 🔥 where can I buy it ?
Bro you make you make everything you wear look good no lie no homo
Howdy🤠 can the next vid be about belt and buckles?? I’ve been searching everywhere but don’t know what to look for
Excellent Video:-)
I like using the boot cut on short dress boots and regular boots regular jeans
wow amazing tip honestly I needed this thanks. At I gotta ask a question how did you end up with your buckles? Honestly I’m kinda curios and I think it would be a cool video.
I should just buy boot cuts because all of my boots are square toes since the lord blessed me with a wide foot lol
awesome videos brother! quick question. so you said you used to wear a 30 length. but now for the cowboy cut wranglers what length do you pick? i’m normally a 30w-32L and wondering whether i should get a 30-34 or a 30-36. thanks man! keep up the awesome content and God bless you :)

Do a compare battle between Wrangler vs Levi's jeans
didnt know the cowboy cut was a thing. recently got into western wear and the respect it gets overall from others in insane. just does something to you. but i've been watching a lot of Yellowstone and LOVE the style of the cowboy cut. been wanting that look for my jeans. @bestdressedcowboy Can you do a video on suits and boots? Cut on slacks/pants for boot shafts, etc.

505 work pretty well with boots too
Thank You Pierre for all the tips on Jeans with Boots. What is your favorite Brand of Western Shirts to ware?
Black jeans. Black boots. Black coat. Black hat. Black shirt.
Thank you for the info tho, will help on those days I do wear some color
Can you make a video about cowboy hat shapes and what fits your face shape
The one pants you have to be careful with, and you have to sometimes size down one or two sizes in length and that is Cody James jeans when they say I stackable Jean they mean it there a long like you’re shopping in the skinny and tall section even though they just regular sizes
yes sir, wish i knew that fact before i bought 4 pairs online
How far do you size up in the M5 so for example I wear a 35x32 in wrangler 936 (my normal size is 34x30) I size up to get the stack on my jeans right so with that being said how far would you size up in Ariat m5 straight jeans ? 8:43 Not to mention getting a ton of glue stuck on the full grain leather shaft. Have fun trying to wash that off and getting the conditioner to do it's job.
I usually get my wrangler cowboy cuts from orscheln because they are only 28 dollars
In a bootcut Jean do you still double the length for a square toe boot ?
I like Levi’s but I also like wrangler do you have any preferences
I Like your videos, I like to dress up in my hat ,boots and jeans and sport coat God bless you
I’m surprised you’re not into selvedge denim. Some companies like sugar cane have almost exact replicas of vintage levi’s
I love cowboy boots and fashion (shoes in particular) and I’ve been looking for a jean that fits straight over the boot. I hate when my jeans stack and don’t like the angle 📐 on the cowboy cut. It’s been a real hassle trying to find the right combination
Any recommendations for the vests?
Its so hard when you're tall. It's hard enough trying to get the right fit let alone having to account for the bulk of your boots
Do you throw your jeans in the dryer after washing? Or hang dry?
Hey man where did you get those snake skin square toes? Those are nice!
Where do you get your button ups
Great video! I’m also 29x30 about 5’6”. Just purchased a pair of Ariat M1s and they fit perfectly! However I’m concerned that once I wash them they could shrink (length) what’re your thoughts? The 29x32s seemed a little too long
What's the difference between the Wrangler bootcut and cowboy cut ?
Quick question: what crown and brim shape is your hat?
It’s be awesome if you could do a video for western style for taller guys. I’m 6’5 with a longer torso than legs. So I have no problem finding boots and and jeans buts it’s the tops I’m having trouble with. Any companies come to mind?
Other than Ariat M5, what jeans would you recommend for square toe boots?
Even with my wrangler cowboy cuts my Redwing Pecos still show through the leg I love the boots but can’t wear them because the shaft is so wide
My new favorite style is wrangler retro straight leg was rocking the 01 . Side note for me and my comfort if I get them little longer it’s easier to bend etc , since wrangle or more of Strug fit plus a still get a good stack look
Do you shrink your 13mwz?? And if you do how much do they shrink? Debating on which size to get
Is it alright if the shaft prints a little bit through the pants?
What are some jeans and boots that i would look good in because i am a lanky guy but love the style of jeans and boots
Being a cowboy gotta make sure your boot and Jean fit to your standards
what kind of black jeans are you wearing at 2:11? :) looking good brother
What shirt company do you have on?
are the silver edition slim fit cowboy cut jeans a good option ?
I like the look both ways but since my boots are primarily work boots i always shotgun my boots.unless i diggin a hole then i cant stand gettin dirt in my boot
I wear the wrangler retro boot cut 30x34 and I just got wrangler cowboy cut in 30x34 and I can’t even get them on
I only tuck my jeans into by boot when I’m clearing land keep them ticks off
Im 5'8" 170 i wear wrangler slim cut 936den 30x32 whats the best way to keep them from shrinking
