You're probably trying to compare this to WW2, this is no blitzkrieg where you would just bomb cities flat until they surrender. And also, don't fall for the propaganda of the West, Russia is doing well and Ukraine's losses are huge.

    My great grandfather fought in the Soviet Union Army and also fought in Berlin. Even though they went to war with his brother, unfortunately his brother died and he was never found him, but I hope one day I will find where he is buried. R.İ.P comrade Babaev Baba

      @@TheMemeDynamics i hope brother, I don't want to die before I find him. My grandfather guessed that he died in Europe because his brother, Qalandar Babaev, thought he died between 1942-1943. My grandfather always told me what an honorable man he was. It is very painful for me to know that he is sleeping so quietly in a place so far from his family and homeland. My grandfather looked for him a lot but never found him and went home without finding him. she always cried when talking about him. He used to say, "Maybe too many people died, but we saved the world from a great deal of trouble." Thank you, comrades Baba Babayev and Qalandar Babayev.

    im a vietnamese which is a communism country and i respect soviet so much.Soviet helped so much in the Vietnam war,they donated us weapon,missile for us to fight back the american.Even after Soviet disbanded Russia is still hold the friendships of Vietnam and Soviet. Even if vietnam is not a communism country i still respect Soviet in the way how they beated the axis and how amazing stalin are.

I have so much respect and I feel like they deserved this moment of respect after so much time and effort in Stalingrad, and especially Berlin.

      @@Buckaroo_k that’s technically not true, the Russians held up very well with their military strength and power, but the US did send their own forces into Berlin as well as Soviet infantry on the other side. There’s a really good picture of US and Soviet infantry shaking hands by a broken bridge.

    My great great grandfather served for Soviet army in ww2 also my great grandmothers brother but unfortunately my great grandmothers brother died very soon after he came home ( he died from shell shock at war and when he came back he died of stress) but my , great great grandfather was at this parade ( he survived )
