My apologies for another late upload. I'm still working on getting caught up. Hopefully, now that my summer college classes are ending, I will have more time to get caught up with uploads. This is from July 2nd. After our test in Hillsboro, MO, we decided to head to De Soto which isn't far. Decide to go for this 4004 on the West side of town off of New Boyd St behind Orscheln Farm and Home. Sirens in De Soto are tested on the 1st Monday of the month at 12:00 PM weather permitting. The activation includes 3 voices, about a 1:00 to 1:30 minute alert, followed by 4 voices. This particular unit seemed to be having a few issues during the test, it only did 1 of the 3 voices prior to the alert, and it also ignored the cancel tones, which is why the rotator briefly stops. The alert finally cancels when the tones went out for the 1st of 4 voices at the end. De Soto PD was standing by for the test and briefly talked with us after. Enjoy!
