Oh my goodness. This place is PERFECT! I'm still about 5 months away from arriving in Dumaguete. When I see places like this on Janet's channel (Dumaguete Rentals and now, Philippine life with Janet), it drives me crazy. This place is a bargain. Two bedrooms, fully furnished, that close to Bacong. Motorcycle parking... c'mon guys... I'll repeat. This place is PERFECT, at the perfect price point. Dang it! Five months away... Well, on the upside, Janet is still propping up the mirrors... she's a beautiful lady, Mike...you are blessed beyond measure! Hi Janet! i usually think the prices of apartments are a bit high on most but this one is the best so far of all the ones you've shown. 355 is very good and negotiable of course. Convenient location too!

Really good deal for younger City people because that is their kind of place and they can hump up and down the stairs.. I like it when you said I'm not going on the roof deck..hehe.. us older people do not like stairs very much..hehe.. the stairs get rough after two or three glasses of three-finger drinks of Jim Beam and Coke..hehe thank you alma and thank you Janet for your camera work, and thank you Mike for the narration and tour.. after I arrive I will certainly contact Alma.. I want a house in the mountains where it is cool and I can have a yard to set up my yard cooking.. I like to cook outside a lot.. what a great place. I'm gonna live in Cebu come feb, like the condo's available and the start of a great life in the philippines. But after seeing this apartment, wow, now I have to see if Dumaguete is a better fit. obviously cheaper than cebu. thanks mike and janet for showing this awesome find. if there's one apartment like this, then there must be others. I'll still start in cebu in an airbnb, already paid for, but will look at options in dumaguete area as well. my main concern is the brown outs there.

Good price. Right on the main road, so the traffic noise is a negative. But, perhaps, being on the top floor, maybe less dogs and rooster noise?

Only drawbacks are the bathroom off the Kitchen and 3rd floor, on the plus is the size and roof deck
everyplace has good and bad points
It’s very roomy but has a weird setup with the washroom goes through the kitchen. Then the other bathroom is off around to the side. Small kitchen then the fridge is out of the kitchen . Not a bad price it’s not to bad for noise and didn’t hear any chickens 😊

I think it's a beautiful unit, I like the size of the rooms and the price is absolutely right, but the location right on a national highway would worry me. I'd be worried about noise and air polution. Apart from that, it will of course be easy to reach shops and restaurants. You'll have to take the cons with the pros. Personally, I would prefer to live slightly more rural, without really being in the boondocks.

It is a good deal but being in the highway, air and dust pollution from vehicles is a big issue for me where you will be breathing it every single day. Also being on the third floor with no elevator could give way to your bad knees. I wonder if safety is a factor in case of fire and other calamities and that there is a proper egress exit.

I like it but not sure about walking up all the steps to the 3rd floor. Also, I would prefer an AC in the living room--I'm not sure how well the AC air in the bedrooms would travel out to keep cool those upstairs living areas.
I saw a split system evaporator in the living room -- it's above the chair @ 7:09 .

I was 1/2 excited by the size/price; but indoor propane? Kitchen is absurd small for that kind of sq footage. It could be made to work, but that kitchen is one huge inconvenience after another, with a bathroom that requires passing thru that small kitchen where if one person is in there, no room exists for another to pass thru. They should setup 1 of the bedrooms as a full kitchen, convert the kitchen into a laundry room. Make it a 1 bed, 2 bath with a FULL kitchen. 25k pesos/m would then be doable.

20 thousand is very reasonable for something that huge and fully furnished. But what about the students and locals who work there. Does Dumaguete have studio or rooms for 100 USD? With so many foreigners, the locals may not have options anymore.
