Halloween Crawl Comp at 508 INT.

- In my area, there are very few rock crawling competitions like Xrock or other sanctioned events. About a month ago a local shop owner wanted to put on a rock crawling comp called the Halloween Crawl Comp. He posted in some local Facebook groups for some people willing to test out 508 Int. in Charlton MA, for a technical rockcrawling course. There were 2 divisions. the first was the smaller tire division that was up to 35" tires. The second was 36" to 40" tires. The other rule was that it needed to be a vehicle with a vin.
This video is a quick overview of the day. I had some running problems that started right after unloading off the trailer. I had a surging idle and random stalling. Turns out that my TPS was out of spec. I tired my best , but I ended up stalling many times during both runs. I placed 3rd out of 5. It was fun , but probably not something I can see myself really getting into.

Thanks Dan. I did. I got some good pics. I wish I was able to get some better video of my runs though.
Looks like it was a great time Mark. I would have loved to have competed but I’m running low on vacation time for the rest of the year. Maybe next year
The organizer wants to make a series for this area next year.keep an eye out for it.
What does the trailer weight with the Jeep on it? And did you have airbags in the coils?
The the trailer and Jeep combo probably weighs a tick over 7,000. And I have helper springs on the rear shocks on the tow rig.
