#Furiosa #MadMax - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Oh what a lovely day!
What did you think of FURIOSA?
Loved it. Will watch again soon
1. Road Warrior 2. Fury Road 3. Furiosa 4. Mad Max 5. Thunderdome.
I loved it. So excited for what's to come next!
Mediocre! - Immortan Joe
I loved it. I liked it even more than Fury road and I think that movie is almost perfect. It's the world-building and characters that sets it above that movie IMO.
don't see jack die? lmao you literally watch him die for minutes. he's being dragged in the sand by bikes for hours while being eaten by dementus cane corso's over the span of hours. where do you get that its implied that he died, its insanely obvious that he died horribly
chill i think he meant it literally😊😊
Just saw it today and really enjoyed it. Just like with Fury Road, it looked amazing and the road battle /fight scenes where choreographed so well. There's something about Australian films where they just kick the cinematography up a notch! The story was okay. The acting pretty good - Chris Harmsworth's character was a lot of fun. And Anna Taylor Joy did a great job as a younger Furiosa. But go to see the movie for the look of it and you won't be disappointed.
Some scenes and effects looked pretty bad by today's standards.
The CGI really didn't bother me. Honestly the way it looks on the big screen looked amazing actually.
The one thing about George Miller. You are going to see something you have never seen before.
Agree with all you said. Saw it yesterday, was happy with the look and the implacable pace of the chase. Just what a Mad Max movie should feel like. Cinematography was great. Story and plot were meh but that's more or less what I expected. Actors were great.
I saw it at home on an app while everyone else paid to go watch it..😂😂
Thought it was quality 👍
My favorite part of Fury Road is when Max gives that grudging half-laugh and little thumbs up to Immortan's wife.
And few seconds later she fell from the vehicle 😂😂
That is actually my favorite scene as well. It is such a great little understated bit of approval.
I thought Chris Hemsworth was playing a younger version of Imortan Joe lol
Ok, I'm not the only one who thought that..
I wish. I really wanted to see more of Joe.
Easter eggs people are missing: the whistle Furiosa uses in the beginning is the same whistle Max uses to defeat Blaster in Beyond Thunderdome. Dimentus’s leg brace is Max’s leg brace. The shotgun that Pretorian Jack gives Furiosa is Max’s gun. The shells wrapped in the cloth is exactly how they were given to Max in Road Warrior.
Is this all canon?
Thanks for pointing these out! I hadn't noticed!
Who cares @@BroCenaa
@@BroCenaa More like references. I don't think they're supposed to LITERALLY be the same objects.
Thought this was the content of the video not just telling us scenes that happen. lol... I really don;t get channels like this.
I saw it today and I enjoyed it and gotta say even more than Fury Road
The storyline and how we got to explore different parts of the wasteland were pretty cool
Fury Road was relentless and mysterious and sometimes we felt like we needed a breather
While Furiosa has the right amount of story buildup, action, madness, chaos and even dialogue
Anya and Chris both nailed their characters, two sides of the same coin, yen and yang
Both deserve recognition for these roles, Chris for portraying Dementus with such depth and charisma and Anya for her ferocity and wild stunts that she performs herself, also not easy to act with your eyes and emotions only!
Also the cinematography and sound of the engines are enough for you to see it on the biggest screen you can find
Agreed. Well said.
Having Dementus turn into a fruit baring tree is Furiosa's way of making him bring hope into the world, even as fertilizer.
Jack is an awesome Character, reminds me of Solid Snake during the movie.
Spoiler
I want to know why no one noticed that she went missing from the vault. No one is like - huh, where did Jingle Bells go? No one investigates - How could she possibly escaped of the vault? No one launches a search of the grounds for her. No one discovers her chastity belt in pervert's bedroom. No one on the council later says - huh, your fair skin looks familiar, were you the little girl that escaped the vault? or, wow, you're pretty, how would you like to live in a vault?
She wasnt pale afterward tho. She clearly had tanned skin
Agreed, that was the one thing I couldn't get over. It's like they all suddenly forgot she was there
Loved it to bits!!! Great movie!!! I want to see more Mad Max movies!!!
They’re clearly setting up a prequel about Max before Fury Road called the Wasteland. Scabrous Scrotus & Chumbucket are both key characters in that story.
Me to actually preferred it to fury road quality 👍
"This is our destiny. You and me. The question is, do you have it in you to make it epic?" Best line of any movie I've seen in a long time. Sums up the movie.
I never knew I’d miss seeing “Nicholas Hoult’s” character. He was a Real 1.
good to see him in the film though playing the brother... didnt recognise him at first...
Best war boy
I didn't think they could top Fury Road, but they did. I didn't think Taylor-Joy would pull off a young Furiosa after how well Theron played the part. But she did, stellar performance.
The real surprise is Hemsworth. Best performance of his career in my opinion. Didn't think his character as the villain could be played with such depth - he was perfectly cast, and wouldn't be surprised if he gets several best supporting actor nods during award season.
The quality of the acting overall was a surprise, but I expected awesome action sequences, and it didn't disappoint: the War Rig fight scene is just awesome. Miller and his team stepped it up even more from Fury Road, still giving the same look and feel of the brutal Wasteland, but with even more grittiness and realism, obviously taking advantage of advances in production since 2015.
Overall it is one of those rare prequels that is better than what was already a great sequel. I can't wait to watch it again when it is out on streaming and watch Fury Road immediately after.
I really liked Jack as well, what happened to him is just as heartbreaking as watching what happens to Jessie & Sprog in the first Mad Max.
Interesting. I think Fury Road is better.
But to me, this is credit to George Miller: he NEVER makes the same movie twice, unlike other directors who always make the same film over and over with diminishing returns.
I also didn't like Beyond Thunderdome that much, but I know some people loved it out of the original trilogy.
I hope Miller makes the Wasteland, and surprises us again with a different kind of story. Fury Road definitely revived the series, but Furiosa took too long to release and people aren't going to the theaters as much because inflation is crazy. It is not doing well in the box office, but I hope it recovers a lot of money on the home release.
No matter Hope or Hate, both are EPICS. Missed watching Fury Road on IMAX Screen but not Furiosa.
Someone brought their literal children into our IMAX premiere it was ridiculous.
I was so in awe of the action sequences and the cinematography that I had to watch several of these types of videos to catch the call backs and clues to earlier films in the series. This is definitely a movie I'll need to see again on the big screen to fully appreciate.
0:10 and I cant believe this is the same guy who directed Babe: Pig in the City
why? because Babe 2 and Happy Feet movies are so connected to the world of Mad Max... It's really obvious it's the same director, same screenwriter !
When you see Ferdinand in Babe 2 screaming about Kamikazee or "Witnesss"... it sounds really familiar.
Pig in the city is hardcore 😂 same as Mad Max
Though it's too long and a few CGI moments really weren't good, it's truly an epic and augments Fury Road in every way by adding weight and depth!! I must say I'm just a bit concerned about the success of this film... it came out last Wednesday here in Paris and Friday night I went to see it in a mostly empty cinema 🤷♀ I was truly shocked at the lack of success for The Fall Guy, and is this one now too headed for the same low box office?
Yea, sadly, it seems cinema all over just arnt doing good any more there to expensive, and people would rather just wait for streaming
I was so amazed with how entertaining this movie was. It’s a vibe and a wild ride.
I would have loved to have seen a movie about Furiosa's mother. That would have been more interesting cos she was a tank in the beginning of the movie, sniping dudes from 2 miles away and doing assassins creed stealth kills.
I agree, would love to see a movie focusing more on Furiosa's mother and the green place, fascinating to think about how women learned to survive and train their daughters and protect their environment.
i love these movies, George is a master at what he does
I really enjoyed it. Explains the backstory very well, and you can’t fault the action scenes, casting was great, as were the characters.
I don't think Furiosa relationship with Jack is romantic, if it was they'd show them kissing at that scene, I understood it as more fraternal or paternal
Mentor Mentee with benefits
In the Warboy working environment you probably shouldn’t get too intimate.
Come on now. They're obviously banging. I'm glad the movie didn't get into a sex scene, but one of the more powerful scenes was the way she leaned towards him right before they killed him.
Jack looks like Snake from Metal Gear Solid.
Since they didn't anything with Scrotus character I believe he might be a villain or at least a henchmen in a future movie!
He'll probably be the main antagonist to Max if the next movie is based off the events of the video game
i hope the next "mad Max' is about Mad max. pretty crazy concept but i think it would work!
They’re setting up The Wasteland with the introduction of Scabrous Scrotus & Chumbucket’s quick cameo.
Furiosa and The Wasteland are prequels to how the two of them ended at Fury Road. So yes, there will be Max in it.
But I'm really tired of certain people trying to take a piss on Furiosa, or even Fury Road, yelping about Max to the point that if Miller blows up Max and the in the first ten seconds and replaces him with Barbie I'll feel like we got the Max movie we deserve. I really don't get why people have an issue with a female lead.
i have only seen Fury Road and Furiosa. I loved both of em. I hope we get a lot more of these movies
The best thing you can do after watching furiosa is to watch fury road. It's a breathe of fresh air.
Thought I was trippin
Did you not like furiosa or just because the continuity is awesome ??
@@Ragazzocarino_ Immortan Joe said it best: Mediocre!
The truck BREATHS
I asked for my money back when I walked out
This movie was wild and I will need to see it again so I am happy to see your breakdown. It was really gross at times but what can you expect! I didn’t understand that that was Max at the end now that makes total sense. I am going to see Fury Road again now.
Thanks for this video on this Mad Max prequel
Loved it and love you!! Your videos are great ❤❤❤❤
I saw it this morning. I liked it! ^^
"WITNESS ME"!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"I have witnessed you, and I will reward your efforts by allowing you to ride with me into Valhalla, Shiny and Chrome!"
max still eating dog food. lol. was insane, please give us more George.
Movie is absolutely bad ass. Not one complaint and I am looking forward to more mad max movies soon
mediocre at best.
@yusufraage8554 mad max isn't for everyone.
Top film. Pleased that I got to see this one on the biggest and best screen possible. Would like to see more of these get made. The craft and skill gone into making this one are second to none. Thanks for the great movie.
So if Furiosa takes place 45 years after society's collapse then how could Max have been a cop? Even a young cop + 45 years Max would have been in his 60s in Fury Road.
Max we see is the little kid from the first Mad max movies
@@skiran6316 you mean feral kid with the boomerang? This was in mad max 2. And no this isn't this Child, because he narrates in the movie and says that he became the leader of the northern tribe. The Max in fury road is the original one as far as i heard. My guess is that that they made a mistake in furiosa. There is also a comic that links mad max 3 with fury road
The pacing was bad , the first one was much more epic . Although I did enjoy Chris Hemsworth character for what it was
Great job!!!
I believe Furiosa watched that man get quartered by motorcycle not lynched.
Yep, actually he was ripped into 5 pieces
@@heinzentertainments4661 😂
12:08 You didn't mention that Furiosa smuggling the wives was played by Charlize Theron.
In Fury Road, yes
Thanks for this
*_"The character not the actress." Lmao😂_*
Loved it. Want more
Sounds like George Miller was a fan of MPD Psycho from the fate of Dementus at the end of the film.
Awesome movie. I want more. I might even go to the movies next week again, to enjoy the details. Since Fury Road nobody was able to make such an apocalyptic movie. George Miller has done it, again. A masterpiece.
Now we need Next Mad Max movie- Mad Max Wasteland
It may be another prequel like Furiosa, but with Max before he is captured by the War Boys.
I totally forgot about the shot where he gets covered in red smoke. That was kind of a beautiful shot.
Haven’t seen it yet I’m cool with spoilers doesn’t stop me from seeing the film, I’m really glad it looks like it was good!
What a masterpiece! I feel sad isn't doing well at the box office 😢
The bosun's whistle Furiosa uses to call for help is the same kind of whistle Mad Max uses in Thunderdome to freak Blaster out in the Thunderdome. Bosun's whistles are common, but that seemed notable.
Honestly, I don't get this movie one bit. At the beginning of Fury Road; Furiosa is lauded by the Immortan Joe and the Warboys as the Imperator Furiosa; the one who drives the Rig, she's presented as this great someone who's held in high regard by all of them, someone Joe trusts, someone the War Boys admire. Where... does that come from, in "Furiosa"?
Her interactions with Joe are non-existent, the War Boys don't even recognise her; she's basically a yes-man to a faceless characterless guy named "Pretorian Jack" and she's completely unremarkable and uninteresting from the Citadel POV. The scene where she tells Joe he should leave Dementius to her is especially unnerving; he doesn't even regard her. How does that connect to the combastic announcement of The Imperator Furiosa in Fury Road?
The ending had THE CHANCE to make this right. When, like a complete idiot, she stands too close to Dementius, he should have lunged and attacked her, as he would have if there wasn't for stupid plot armour. Then, Joe and his guys could show up and save her from the brink of death... and Joe could have mistakenly interpreted her path of revenge as her loyalty to him and sacrifice for the Citadel. This could have created a bond of trust from the Immortan's side; logically leading up to that opening scene in Fury Road.
But, they failed to do this, instead they opted for an absurd idea of a tree growing out of a man's crotch; ROFL... and more pathetically, the Immortan Joe clearly having 0 say or knowledge about what's going on in his own black yard. But he's been forced to drop the ball as early as he's made to ignore a full life breeder disappeared from his bride's pen and not even conducting a proper search after her. The original comics published after Fury Road depicted Furiosa as infertile, and Joe letting her rise in the ranks of War Boys, which was a much better story than what we got in Furiosa the movie.
I think her bringing back Dementius and turning him into plant would endear her pretty quickly to Joe. And who knows how much time passes between her doing that and helping the wives escape, but making that more obvious would seem to be a good idea. Certainly Theron's character seemed significantly older than where we leave off with Taylor. For a movie ostensibly to fill in Furiousa's background it may have focused on Dementius too much.
Bruh. She got promoted after the events of Furiosa and it's probably a few years of reputation building by the time she's Charlize Theron Furiosa and sneaks away with a totally different set of wives. Bro probably should take a second to think thinks through before spewing CZcams comment vomit next time.
that's the whistle from thunder dome, teddy bear is from the game..........many many links in the movie
How did Thor end up in Baldurs body!!!lol
Thor ended up in mythologically accurate Thor's body
There were 2 weird continuity glitches - all the big deal about the map on her arm leads to nothing. And when she chews through the fuel pipe, and they still keep on riding for miles! Apart from that, I loved it. There were 4 people in my local Everyman cinema!
the undercranking was just a lil bit too utilised lol but when u forget it, it goes hard
I had a realization that Demintus/ chris heminsworth was in Mad Max fury road.. just hanging out in the top of the citadel....a tree
The movie burns! The back story, the creative action, the acting, all got me.
Excellent explanation. But how come you have access to so much movie footage so early.
The only thing that got me upset about this movie. The SKS rifle. The characters treated it like a bolt action. It's a semi auto. That was my only quirk
Maybe the gas system was broken
Good video I haven't seen it yet but I will.👍🏻
I really enjoyed now I’ve had a day to absorb and reflect - great film!
GUN NUT RANT: the sniper rifle that we see used throughout Furiosa is a SKS. It’s a gas operated semi automatic 7.62 x39mm rifle. Meaning the action does not need to be re-chambered after every shot. I have no idea why George Miller chose to do this, specific to the Furiosa film. When in mad Max fury Road, the rifle was used in correct operation, where the actors did not have to chamber every round after every shot. Maybe it was for dramatic effect, I don’t know, but it just bothered me.
Tarane Burke is the next Main Actor in the next Mad Max Movie!!
'and if it couldnt get any worse we're in Australia' WTF, lol. Australia is by far the best country on the planet 😊
Need a Dementus spin-off
Ending i didn't expect. This movie has more bloody and gore scene than fury road. Love it 🎉.
Just came here to chuckle because that's what I do every time i see a "ending explained" for a movie with an ending that doesn't need explaining.
Furiosa was amazing I loved that movie brought me the vibes of the first original mad max
This was the best movie of the year for me. Epic in every way and better than Fury Road even. I enjoyed it much more than Dune 1 and Dune 2. I had very little expectations based on some reviews but man, it exceeded all my expectations. Definitely worth paying for it at the theater.
Best movie of the year and best action sequence of all time! Desert action overwhelming Dune 1.2 is sucked into the sand with the sound of a heart-throbbing engine
Furiosa 9/10. I'm going again next weekend to rewatch it. Too many people are talking crap about this movie without seeing it because there's no Max and a female lead when it's a fantastic action movie. There's Hemsworth who is a beast and incredible.
I thoroughly enjoy Furiosa great movie!
I wished we saw more of the 40 day waste land war. That alone could of been a movie
LOL I know right! I was like hold on there was a 40 day road war?!?!?!!
I was tripping when I go watch this movie. Didn't understand a thing going on screen.
Loved it! Yes. I’ll go back to see Fury Road but only for context to the story. George Miller knows how to make films that go beyond effects and deliver some story lines and symbolism. Some just want to watch the world burn. Same with amateur movie critics…aren’t we all?
*_Chris Hemsworth is a specimen._*
Assuming Furiosa takes place 45 years after collapse of civilization, there is no way the Max in Fury Road is the same Max from original trilogy, right???
Correct, that would put him in his late 60s or early 70s.
Saw it andddd it’s a winner🍿🍿🍿
This is cool. :D
Can’t wait till this comes out on HBO wish I could of afforded to see in the theater
Still waiting to see this in Britain! Loved Fury Road so much, best women-centred sf movie since the first Aliens film.
Fury Road would occur in 2006, three years after Beyond Thunderdome, maybe by History People telling the story about them.
Great movie
The last 30-40 minutes were painful to watch. Anya should've played a different iteration of Furiousa and not tried to mimic Charlize's performance. Anya looks like an alien in that ridiculous "buzz cut" wig.
So just because she looked bad in a buzzcut they shouldn’t have cut it? Makes zero sense to me. She needed to cut it to be able to fight and not worry about her hair
A woman more angry than my ex! Impossible 😅😂
Can anyone please tell me what bike furiosa's mother rides?
I enjoyed the movie, but some parts left me unsatisfied.
1. I wish they showed the aftermath of Furiosas escape from the wife vault. Like, two scenes when the bad guys notice she is gone and do something about it, and then how she outsmarts them.
Since the women held in the vault are very prized by immortan joe, I wish there was something to show the consequence of her disappearance.
2. I wish they developped Jacks and Furiosas relationship just a little bit more. I was certain he is tricking her to reveal the location of the green place the entire time, until the badass incident at the bullet farm.
Also just like two scenes showing how they started to trust or take care of each other in the horrible authoritarian reality that they were in.
3. I wish they showed how Furiosa rose up in ranks and got trust from immortan joe. Like, in Fury Road, she is seeking redemption, and its implied she did some terrible stuff to become someone respected by the powers of the citadel. And I loved it - the idea that she is not a good character, but is doing something good to redeem herself, in the process taking down a terrible dictator. And while I don't want personally to watch autrocities committed by her, maybe instead something to show how immortan joe noticed her intelligence or some value to his fucked up order.
In the middle of the film I thought she would be noticed and celebrated for somehow delivering Dementus to immortan joe, and gaining his trust or respect this way, but in the end they showed a different fate for dementus. Which was yeah, poetic justice, but like, so improbable that it pulled me out of the story.
Otherwise, cool movie, will watch it again. But Fury Road remains my ultimate favourite 🔥
It’s crazy how many video game references George Miller added into this movie after he called the video game a complete failure.
Love the Mad max Easter egg chilling with his car and eating dog food.
Did you watch HOPE AND GLORY - A Mad Max Fan Film? 275 filmmakers from 5 continents created one of the biggest fan films of all time: with real stunts, a real orchestra and most importantly, real heart.
Okay... So did George Miller just 'create' the character of Scrotus for a one Mr. Josh Helman? He played Slit in "Fury Road" yeah? A War Boy. Or is Scrotus in the game I've never played? =D
That game is not cannon.
I liked it , watche this movie and then fury road and it blend it together so good , yes furiosa is not so wau like max ,but it was good action and story line .
Highly enjoyable movie that should be watched in a cinema with the loudest possible speakers.
We need Immortan Joe backstory!
It's explained in the comics.
My favorite Mad Max movie is Furiosa. Deeper story & character development. But we aren't likely to see another Mad Max movie made again given Furiosa's disatrous box office #s on opening weekend.
furiosa was like a supplementary world building movie that goes with fury road so well..
where movie link? if anyone knows? give me please??
Bit torrent ????
After watching Furiosa, I have a new hatred for Erectus now
The game deserved so much more love and support.
If the devs didnt abandon it, it could have been EPIC!
I hope they make a new one on ps5!
I absolutely loved furiosa!!!!
