Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this CZcams channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

Again just glad they got out of Thailand before that storm hit. My heart was in my throat, not knowing how far behind this vlog was. Thankfully a few days at least.

You all have made me want to travel so much more. I’m already booked on a trip to 5 European countries for 3 weeks over the summer. But I’ve set a goal to go to 100 countries in my lifetime. Definitely not in the few years that you’ll accomplish it but some time in the next like 30 years haha. ❤️

K Do definitely train. I took an 18 hour train ride from Maryland to Florida last year and it was the best experience of my life.

I can never top my travel experience last year. I flew alone at 14 to Norway (from boston) and on the way back I was upgraded to business on swissair. I had an entire little booth, and the booth next to me was also empty. They legit brought popcorn when I started watching a movie. Amazing

I was lucky enough to travel a lot when I was younger. .. then I got this big fear of flying after one bad experience ... your videos bring back some memories of the journey ... I hope to get over my fear and travel again as an adult...
Rosie Conaghan I’ve been a aircraft mechanic for 30 years and can honestly say it’s safer to fly then drive a car. With modern technology and constant maintenance planes are the safest form of travel. Hope this helps.
the incident where your bags get left at a previous stop happens quite frequently on transit flights... happened to me on a flight from london to mauritius, with a layover in france. and it wasn’t just for me - all the other people, that took the same journey as me, had their luggage left in france... it was hella crappy 😂
Tip: When you check in your bags and you’re not sure if they going to go straight to your final destination, look at the airport code on the tag. That code is the airport where you should pick up your bag (and check in again if necessary). You’re welcome 😉

I am going on a very long flight in October 12 hours to be exact and sometimes I get a bit nervous because of things that has happened in the pass like 9/11 but me watching you guys makes me feel really happy because people travel all over the world so much and nothing bad happens thank you!

It is so cute how excited Kara gets when waiting to see if their middle seat will have someone in it. Also, I am trying to think of countries you haven't visited yet. It really feels like there can't be too many more. I haven't seen any videos of it, but you should really think about Jamaica and/or Nicaragua. They are both beautiful countries with wonderful people.

My husband and I plan on visiting Chiang Mai in the near future and the footage from Chiang Mai to North America in economy was really helpful. Gives me an idea of what to expect for our flight.

I know this video is nearly 2 years old, but I’m absolutely hooked. I’ve always loved flying. 2010 I started working on cruise ships and did that for 6 years. Caught the (international) travel bug BIG TIME.
My 2019 had me in England in October and Serbia (with an Italy layover) in December.
Haven’t traveled during the pandemic but man, I can’t wait to get on a plane again.

I completely understand the excitement of having an empty middle seat, I just flew 14hrs from ICN to JFK, and that empty seat made the of world difference.

The fact that you went three years without ever losing your luggage is crazy good luck. Just traveling a couple times per year, my wife and I have had our luggage misplaced or left behind about 3 times over the last 10 years.
With all of the short layovers you have, I am shocked it hasn't happened before.

HA! that is how I discovered your videos last year when I made plans to go to Taiwan. I flew on Eva Air and they really do feed you a lot and had complimentary wine. I did have a tv on my plane but I slept a lot. I also went in February and got to experience the Lunar new year. I flew from NY, so funny that you guys were going there next in this episode. So happy I found your channel; I've been following since.

You picked one of the best airlines to fly with, EVA Air are regularly voted in the top 5 airlines of the world, based on service, check-in, food and price. British Airways who were voted 31st and American Airlines 71st. Oh my gosh, your bags !!! Forget what I said about EVE AIR...no, actually, they are a really great airline. AHHH, the longest flight we ever took was to Bali, and I felt like I needed two knee replacements after it. Pro tip -- book the exit rows because they have maximum leg room! We used our carryon bags as foot rests and pretended we were in first class.

I did that same flight back in November, the gate agent gave me an entire row to myself. It was life changing, slept better than on United or delta's business class seats.
