This video talks comprehensively about hypertensive retinopathy pathophysiology and clinical signs. hypertensive retinopathy is the pathology seen due to changes occurring in the retina due to uncontrolled hypertension. The common clinical manifestation of hypertensive retinopathy are vasoconstriction, av changes, salu's sign, Gunns's. sign , bonnet sign , cotton wool spots. hypertension causes retinopathy, choroidopathy, and optic neuropathy as well . Elschnigs pearls, Seigrists spots and exudative retinopathy are signs associated with choroidopathy.
