    Is there a way to differentiate myelinated fiber layer from pallid disc edema? Both can look alike and has blurring of vessels

    • @InsightOphthalmology
      @InsightOphthalmology  Před měsícem

      Myelinated nerve fibres are more flatter in appearance and they usually extend beyond the disc..
      It may be circumferential but usually segmental.
      Whereas a palid disc edema is limited to the disc.

    Does it occur recurrently??
    I diagnosed with IIH in 2019 sept and get resolved in 2020 march , but again papilledema occured in November 2020 and got resolved in 2021 December
    And again it occurred in june 2023😢
