Nintendo's copyright department must be in maximum overdrive right now. I've seen the version that's vocoded to "Gansta's Paradise." It's actually pretty awesome. I love how your voice cracked when you realized you just said that.
There's actually been multiple versions and it's pretty hilarious.
I'm excited and to see the super mario bros movie with great versions will be incredible.
When I saw the video I didn't really know what to expect and the title was true to it's word and it was genuinely halirious

People really don't understand how copyright works on Twitter. Not even GenTV in Argentina does not understand it either. At least Nintendo and Illumination got everything under control.

They will keep surprising us uploading the entire movie on Twitter and for the 1:54 part, I was the original creator of the Vocoded to Gangsta's Paradise version of the Mario Movie, but it eventually got taken down 3 days later due to how viral my video was going lmao

I saw that vocoded version of the entire Mario Movie on my home page before, and I remember saying "What the fu**, it's the entire movie?"
Literally had the same reaction lmaooo. I can't find it now but when I found it , it was 23hrs old. I'm surprised it stayed up for that long! It baffled me that it really was the whole movie.

Actually, in Central America, speciffically in Nicaragua, they broadcasted the entire movie IN OPEN TV 2 days later after it launched. A cousin of mine told me about it, and surprisingly, when Black Adam premired, it happened the same.

There was this one guy who uploaded the entire mario movie vocoded to gangstas paradise on CZcams. It was expected that it was removed a few days later, but what I didn't expect was that CZcams downloaders will still download it, as well as practically any blocked video on CZcams.

I **could** but I haven't found the 'theatre experience' nearly as 'enjoyable' as it used to be in my area. ^_^U
Why would I want to navigate past bad drivers and/or construction for 30-60 mins (to *and* from the theater) and sit in a crowded room only for the film to be randomly interrupted by a) a crying baby b) loud children or c) someone yakking away on their cell phone? 9_9
Watching it on DVD or via streaming simply works out better for me. ^_^ ,b
All that said, I hope that the rest of you continue to enjoy the film. With any 'luck', its success will cause (some studios in) Hellywood to course correct soon.

I think Illumination has some of deal with Netflix, as I’ve seen recent ones appear on there such as Sing 2, Rise of Gru, and Bad Guys

Hell, Netflix just announced it will discontinue shipping DVDs by mail this September.
It’s kind of sad though, as it marks the end of an era (I myself rented over 100 DVDs from it since I got Netflix in 2010).

You realize literally every big movie ends up online while it's still in theaters right? Mario was just popping up in places you wouldn't expect.
I also doubt it would really make that much from Argentina due to their tickets probably being pretty cheap.
