Thank you very much sir for such an explanatory tutorial!!! tutorials like these only will help!!! if more details like why we are entering specific values or selecting options included in tutorial , it will make it perfect to learn
Thank you everybody for your valuable comments.
This video has helped me a lot! I can never thank the creator enough! thanks a lot!!!!!!
Great work 🙏
its very helpful
Can you please make a tutorial for sandwich construction?
thanks
Great explanation,
Very Good clear Presentation
Thank you
Awesome video! Thank you!
Hi, would you please tell what does it mean structural meshing when we choose face meshing. Thank you!
thanks a looot ..you are king
Very informative video
Realy very Informative............
Good to know your feedback, keep sharing the joy of learning by sharing these videos to friends/colleagues
will this also give Load vs Deflection Curve for the test piece ?
I WANT TO PUT A CONSTANT CROSSHEAD MOTION ON THE LOADS, AND GET LOAD VS DEFLECTION GRAPH FOR MY ANALYSIS. CAN YOU TELL ME WHT TO USE IN STATIC STRUCTURAL
great job
Thank you sir very nice video. Sir, I have a tubular section having weld at the middle, can we do 3 points bending test on this specimen if yes, can you please explain how to do it?
what is need of weak spings when your applying fixed BCS and can share the NL material generation excel sheet? Thank in Advance
A good informative video! well explained. Could you give details on the velocity of pusher as the velocity is not clear ? Thank you. I look forward to join the course. Will be helpful. Thank you.
This is a static load case which is not in the time domain. There is no concept of time so it can be assumed that the pusher is displaced with an infinite amount of time. ie. quasi-static loading, or maybe better stated, infinitely 'slow' loading.
sir could you please do a video in 4 point bending test with reinforced concrete as done in lab
Thank you
sIr how did you get the stress strain data points for defining the multilinear isotropic hardening?
It can be obtained from mechanical test laboratories or online portals
sir i have a problem of three axis cnc machine simulation i want to determine the stresses on the tool which is travelling in the z axis. What type of analysis should i use.
Sir, when i tried to solve the same problem with same method bisection occurred during convergence. So my question is can you give me any suggestion that how can i get rid of the problem of non convergence
I keep getting stress singularities on the displacement vertices on the bottom when solving for Equivalent Stress. How do I avoid stress singularities?
Why did you write that codes to the command line of the contacts?
Hello Sir, thank you for your informative video. good job.I have an issue here. I set up my model exactly like you did in this video but I cant get it converged. even I try different contact formulations and different strategies like applying displacement gradually but still does not converge. but when I run the set up with steel or other linear material it works. what do you think the problem might be?
Hi,
Can you advise how you split the faces to enable the connection?
Thanks
+Chandra Sekhar Chandra, the splitting of the face was done in CAD, you can do in the ANSYS by using the design modeler tool
I am searching for fatigue analysis of NOZZLE SHELL JUNCTION.
I have five different loadings on the nozzle, every load contains three forces and three moments in x,y, and z direction.
I can use following terms from ASME codes, I NEED JUST ONE EXAMPLE EXPLAINED, so I am grateful for your explanation.

Please ask, how are those "split surface lines" modelled in CREO Parametric?
+Liang Zhao it was done using split quilt using plane
Dear professor,Is it possible to provide the geometry files, in order we perform this tutorial? Thanks,Regards
hiplz could you model a prestress reinforced concrete slab?
Where take bending-test-setup.stp?
May I know how to find the ultimate bending capacity of the beam? How do we know the beam exceeded the maximum bending strength?
its bent
I have 2 questions?
1) at which rate the pusher was coming? by rate i mean velocity?
2) how this analysis is different from impact analysis (Explicit dynamics) ?
thanks
1/ here the time is not realistic so velocity is not valid
02/ this is implicit analysis
+GRS CAD/CAE What is the right way to calculate end time. i am very curious about this i have watched many videos but none ever explained how the end time is calculated. But every one is saying end time is important..
Hello,
can you send me CAD files for this task please?
Thank.
please give the dimension for this model
how did you calculate those multilinear isotropic hardening parameters??? In my situation, I have only force-displacement values from tensile test of specific material and I need to define the multilinear parameters....thanks in advance. R
Stress= load/ Area of cross section & Stain= change in length/original length, this formula was applied for each load step applied. Let me know whether your question was answered.
+GRS CAD/CAE
I´m aware of those equations. I could calculate stress, but you don´t know the value of cross section (unless you are calculating with initial cross section = engineering stress/strain). And I´m not able to calculate the strain, because I lack the "change in lenght" parameter. For obtaining the real parameters we performed a tensile test of specific material and obtained four parameters: force, two type of displacement (but not change in length) and time. Secondary, during these test there are calculated parameters such as strain hardening exponent, so I thougth of using Hollomon´s hardening law ....
If not confidential, Can you share the data to engineeringtutorsdesk@gmail.com
It is not, but I have other problem that bother´s me, can I send you the model with brief description?
really very greet its very helpful but I want ask question I am going to modeling post tension concrete or pretension concrete beam or slab but I can not define relation between tendon and concrete and did u make video about this or what u advice me to do I will be very great if u help me thanks a lot
