I love the new use of the actual card header instead of generic text!! Gives it more of a magic feel!!
You two are my absolute favorite content creators at the moment. Would love to see Modern Humans or Elves or Feather in Pioneer.
Anyone editing the sound done a good job, I really like that it add nuance to the game state.
I also like the commentary, very insightful but sometimes cutting from overhead camera to player commentary disorient/confuse me. Maybe add a face cam for commentary without cutting out from the overhead camera will make me more focused.

Ragavan having delve would actually be relevant in commander because you can use him as a commander, thus adding generic mana to his mana cost.
10:00 OOOF you're supposed to fiery impulse your own phoenix for the 3rd spell! It comes right back!
That's actually what I was thinking about so hard there. I decided to keep both spells back hoping to snipe creatures later and get back two phoenixes in the process.
Obviously that didn't play out like I wanted it to 😅😅😅

I would not mind seeing UB control in pioneer, or a Death's Shadow deck in modern. Also, you played probably my 2 favorite pioneer decks today. Love it!
LOL!! The skeleton clinking on the table before game 2 was hilarious; awesome content and I always have a fun time watching. A couple of content suggestions for the show, 1. play against the "Garruk the Slayer" oversized Planeswalker card, 2. play a Planechase commander game, take those as you wish, keep the content going!

Really like the updated graphics for the hands and graveyard. Only thing that I wish was a bit better is the blips for who has a won a game. It can be a little hard to see every now and again.

Go blank is not a permanent 😉 so it can be played with Lurrus as a companion
Would those decks totally shit on all the pioneer precons? I mean if you upgraded them ofcourse.
nope the format is pretty balanced
To answer your question, the precons are actually really strong but matchups are matchups so here is a quick guide:
Pheonix:
Actually struggles vs Burn precon
Demolishes Orzhov Auras
Is quite favoured vs spirits
Is about 50/50 vs Lotus Field combo, depends on your sideboard
Rakdos Pyro:
Is quite good vs burn, but burn still has good chances
Has far too much removal for Orzhov Auras (auras is still a good deck! These are simply not the best matchups for it)
Has a reallllyy hard time beating the spirits precon
Is about 60/40 against the Lotus Field combo deck

@21:19 When you have CZcams automatically do your captions, and you have a non-American accent, sometimes you end up with phrases such as "Thing in the Ass". If you go check it, it's hit and miss -- maybe CZcams will think you're talking about "Thing in the Eyes" instead. It'll never assume that you're actually talking about ice, though.
We once tried using auto-generated AI captions for our Shorts videos, from the editing software. The captions changed Kaldheim to Cod Dame and we decided a channel about magic cards is probably not the best place for auto-generated captions 😅

They errata'd all the companions because they broke the game :) they now cost 3 to put to hand and then you can cast them for their normal cost

I know this video is over a year old but could you please fix the Pheonix typo in the title?
Niv to light could be fun to watch. I don't think that deck has ever been played anywhere else. Same with Winota (although she might have seen some standard play)
