      I miss him too!!! He was such an interesting and pretty talented player, could've made the finals and won a few slams before drooping down to the top 100s of the ATP rankings instead of top 10.

    Gilles Simone and Gäel Monfils made me smile. They spread joy to whole stadium. 😊
    Juan Martin del Potro's monster forehand winners are the most beautiful to watch in my opinion.

    2:17 That Rafa forehand is one of my all time favourite Rafa shots, not just forehands. The amazing footwork speed to run around the ball and then that forehand missile at the end of it, just fantastic stuff. I don't think I will ever get tired of seeing that point.

      I was at that match, Delpo took so much out of Djokovic that he had nothing left for the final, Murray was the lucky beneficiary as Djokovic resorted to serving and volleying. and obviously given that his volley is pretty poor lost the final. Delpo's injuries have robbed us of a multiple slam winner.

    That footwork by Nadal. It's absurd how fast he can run backwards, it's almost as fast as some people running forward.

    Forehand hits by Nick Krygious, Gonzales, Del Petro and Serena were rockets. Two handed BH by Lukas Rasol and one handed BH by Roger was joy.That overhead by Gael Monfils was pure athleticism

      Serena relatively powerful, to the women's game. #XavierMalisse was the original huge forehand. Supposedly, #DavidNalbandian hit a 110mph two handed backhand against #Agassi (also huge hitter in his era) in the 2003 Master Cup, but that seems like a dodgy calibration, like Sam Groth's '163mph' serve.

    Pete Sampras was terrifying. He had the physique and facial expression of a woodcutter and in fact sometimes gave the impression of using the tennis racket as an axe.

      Sampras didn't have the incredible skills of some, but he had greatness in all the most important shots. Comparing him to Federer is like comparing Ronaldo to Messi (although Federer and Messi were actually better LOL, but the fundamentals are important).

      Roger F once said that if all the players were on top form Del Potro would win. His power was very difficult to combat so on top form he was hard to stop.

    Good times. Kyrgios must have the hardest groundstroke of any player, amazing. Must say that backhand of prime Federer against Henman was superfast as well

    Rafas foot work and forehand coordination is unmatched. Dude even run very fast backwards. It's really absurd that how much great control he has in his body when he plays shot like this.

      How come his grand slam/5 set record is so bad then? He was never that fit and got tired. Alcaraz is now the greatest ever tennis athlete, comfortably.

    Kyrgios and Delpo forehands are absolute cannons.
    Roddick has monster serves.
    Fed has the best one handed back hand in the game.
    Sampras is power all around.

    Kyrgios looks so young and baby faced!! The ferocity of his forehand at such a young age makes me sad - such a wasted talent. With a clear mind and positive attitude he could have been anything.

    I knew Rosol had to be there. The most savage hitting I've ever seen in a brutal match. Meanwhile, much as I LOVE Del Potro, that forehand against Nadal looks out to me. Meanwhile again....that cross court shot by Serena HAS to be the greatest forehand shot she's ever played!! And she's hit a few. :)
