Hi everyone, great comments so far. People have made good points regarding SAO and while i agree that launching the isekai craze is a big deal, there wouldn't be as many people watching it without attack on titan's influence in 2014. i know i went from AOT to Sword art myself on netflix back in the day. also, yes, we cant forget JoJo, however, again, its important to remember the difference between internet popularity and real popularity. jojo is huge within the community, but if i asked my girlfriends dad what jojo is he'd have no idea, but he KNOWS AOT. thats the difference. either way we very much appreciate the watch and any shares you want to give this video. you guys are a great community and we appreciate you wholeheartedly! have a great week and we'll be back next saturday!

Look: I know nationalism is cancer and it will inevitably get us all killed. But i also know that the majority of the human race consists of those nationalists but only a very small fraction of those actually want war. And AoT is VERY much anti war. However, it doesn't have a clear good or bad guy. The main character we are nominally supposed to root for is an agry german in a brown uniform who wants to KILL ALL THE INHUMAN MOSTERS!! I like how morally uncomfortable that always was from the start. Just keep following the story. I promise it only gets wilder.

Thank you so much for making this wonderfully-presented video. I've been an on-and-off anime fan for the duration of my life. DBZ was my first, then Rurouni Kenshin, then Yu Yu Hakasho, etc. etc. But somewhere along the line (I believe during the Naruto Filler era), I fell out of love and didn't keep up with it for quite a while. When my best friend showed me Attack on Titan in 2014, I felt an unmistakable thrill similar to what you described in the video. The first episode alone had everything I desired in a story. Horror, suspense, beautiful art and 2D animation, a tale of survival. I was hooked. My love for anime was reignited then and there, and has been going strong ever since. Some people say it's silly to call Attack on Titan one of the greatest of all times, but I unapologetically stand by that sentiment. Its importance is undeniable, and it's done a lot to bridge so many different cultures together through its compelling visuals and storytelling. I hope your apt analysis reaches many others.

I'm 13 and always loved reading. 2.5 years ago a classmate brought the manga to school and let everyone read it (me and my friends were the only people interested). Anyone who read it loved it and so it started. somebody would get the next volume and so on. Unfortunatley this was the last year of basisschool (4 years to 12 years, school system in the netherlands). I never continued reading the manga. Until i discovered this year that one of my friends loved attack on titan and i decided to watch the anime and this got me into other anime aswell. i dont know why i am telling this story but here is my story of how i got into anime.
edit: i look exactly like armin and now thats how my old friends call me

The Attack on titan manga is about to go down as one of the best manga ever with how the story has progressed from the beginning to its coming end. It would be an understatement to say the Hajime Isayama has crafted a beautiful would that has a history and story that couldn't be any closer to masterful. After Attack on titan ends it'll be one of the best mangas, if not one of the best stories in fiction to be created. ᴬᵗᵗᵃᶜᵏ ᵒⁿ ᵗⁱᵗᵃⁿ ⁱˢⁿ'ᵗ ᵃ ʳᵘⁿ ᵒᶠ ᵗʰᵉ ᵐⁱˡˡ ᶻᵒᵐᵇⁱᵉ ˢʰᵒʷ.

In my opinion attack on titan is amazing because it let's you have infinite questions about everything happening and after some time you get answers but also more questions. It also doesn't show you only one side of "antagonists" but also their point of view with their emotions so you really can't blame anyone for their actions :)

hi Bonsai pop the first time I seen Attack on Titan it aired on Toonami it was so interesting to watch and I enjoy it still to this day it's one of those enemies that not just the opening song grabs your attention but the whole anime even though it's grim and dark there's a message behind it just like the story about the Native Americans up in the Northern Lakes region in America about skin-walker it's about cannibalism a taboo known to human and Mankind it's a huge taboo but it has happened you can look through legit history and you can tell that it has happened and that's why such things you get out like the way they do my people are compelled to create stories and things of such nature it serves as a warning to be careful I can recall a story about the downer party if you learn about the history about that event in the story you'll realize that I'm talking about an event that also involves cannibalism go ahead look it up but the history up you'll see what I'm talkin. We human have in mankind happy very strange let me put it this way we have a Savage nature if we ain't careful and we can do some very not human or Humanity Rhian type things things that are considered very taboo like cannibalism and their liske probably go on depending on the where you want to go into course and the history of it of course the history of cannibalism are human history fact it's terrifying to know that our ancestors and people from past tense Jinx such a terrible thing in such a taboo type thing as cannibalism but it's exist and that's why the warning exist it warns that if you don't want to be ashamed and scolded for being a human or Maneater are eating even if the person is deceased a another human being it's still considered cannibalism and unfortunately the shame in the scolding is real indeed fear is real just like the same with the apocalypse and and other such things that produce such you know fear and anxiety in humanity that's why they warning exists simply because people don't want people to repeat the same mistakes words to make the same mistakes as someone who shamed because they want what's best for something better for them they don't want that burden on them it's as simple as that I mean seriously that's my opinion on the matter Annie who made this comment long enough I'll just say have a nice day Bonsai pop.
