Infact I found the sidemen through vikk, man was getting big with his Minecraft content

Felt bad for Josh on the “addicted to social media” question. None of them were listening to him and didn’t understand his perspective. Imo he’s completely correct in saying that content creation is work and can’t be classed as ‘being on social media’. Just scrolling occasionally through social media does not class as being addicted, rather when you find yourself repeatedly using social media without any real reason, mindlessly scrolling through, then you may class that as addiction.

And jj was like “ummm what about tiktokers you said that was social media” it’s not about the creation of content it’s about the consumption - the scrolling - and there’s a huge difference between using something for its normal designed function - I.e. refreshing say twitter or whatevs and actually using it to an unhealthy degree/ finding it hard to stop or find other things to do - I’m pretty josh at one point said his socials screen time was 20 minutes or something which is insanely low and is 100% not addiction - if anything he should be further left than he was - no one there was fukin listening, it actually kinda pissed me off a bit tbh

I actually love how well thought out and planned the sidemen have for their content like they have so much ideas and it's amazing how they act dumb sometimes BUT THEYRE HELLAAAAA SMART
nah fam vik is self made, i was watching him way before i knew who jj was. its mainly bc a big thing back in the minecraft days was "the pack" with a bunch of other minecraft youtubers, pretty sure their names r rob, lachlan, preston, jerome and bajancanadian and they were like a only gaming sidemen and they were massive. that made viks channel big in the first place and he then (after the pack stopped making vids together) was with the sidemen and grew bigger.

Vik and Harry were not made by JJ. Harry was on his own doing his thing with tricking people into entering iPad competitions, and Vik’s content is so completely different to JJ’s. The others, although they put in work, you could argue that JJ is the reason they’re where they’re at today.

i agree with josh’s stance of being “addicted” to social media. there’s a time and a place but needing to check something and constantly feeling the need to check something are different. people are capable of limiting themselves but some don’t know how to limit themselves or draw a line of what “too much” is and that can form addictions
I'd say if you can't go a day without watching youtube or browsing Twitter, you aren't necessarily addicted, it kight just be a part of your routine now. If you cant stop watching youtube videos or playing a game even to do some routine work like studying or even eating, you are addicted then.

Reasons for why I'm still watching the sidemen from 2013 is because they're still entertaining. They do so many other activities that keep their channels still up to par with entertainment. Like for this video yes they're answering questions but they have discussions amongst themselves and give their own input while at the same time still having fun or cheesing the whole moment.

I love spaghetti, I'll eat spaghetti multiple times a day because I enjoy it. Or there's people who enjoy cracking their knuckles and stuff because they enjoy it, that doesn't mean they're addicted. Checking social media multiple times a day doesn't mean you're addicted, you just enjoy doing it. I like seeing what people are doing, I love knowing what's going on in the world, I love talking to my friends. It's only an addiction when you can't stop doing it and if, when taken away for you, you go through physically or mental harm because you can't cope with going without it. But him simply being active doesn't make him addicted in the slightest.

KSI is absolutely right about being close to the ideal life, every 1 of them were talking about how they ‘wanna do so much more’, and ksi responds by simply saying we all have the potential to do so much more (ie, more opportunity then avg person)) and thus we are close to the ideal life. no ones gonna see this but ksi is pretty smart about these things

I feel like Simon is afraid to have an opinion. He's all the way at the back and he barely moves. When he finally does move, he moves really slowly so he has time to see where the other Sidemen goes and then he bases his decision on that.
Because when he does have a strong opinion, he gets unreal amount of hate in the comment section. So now he just plays Devils Advocate in most cases.
He is incredibly self concious and insecure.
