Suella Braverman Declaring Election 'Over' Gives Her "Leeway To Defect To Reform"

  • Conservative commentator Benedict Spence says Suella Braverman declaring the election ‘over’ gives her “leeway if she decides to defect to Reform”.
Ms Braverman blamed the situation on a fracture within the Conservative Party resulting from a rise in Nigel Farage’s Reform UK.
Ms Braverman said the Tories need “a searingly honest post-match analysis”, “because the fight for the soul of the Conservative Party will determine whether we allow Starmer a clear run at destroying our country for good or having a chance to redeem it in due course.
Benedict says: “That would be more beneficial for her career, because she would be the second biggest fish in that pond.”

The Tory party didn't thank Farage for giving them the majority to stay in number 10 in the last election. Stood some of his candidates down and nothing for it. Reform will change its name in time with Nigel at the helm and sitting in number 10. Watch this space. Irish here, I think Suella has changed party before...... Labour to Tory and now to reform. I feel she is actually more genuine by doing this as opposed to being less loyal, she sticks to her own principles above party politics....... Not a bad trait in modern politics and she recognises and highlights the failing of parties by moving to what's right and more aligned to her values.
Reform hadn't existed until recently and she's found the perfect porridge in reform. Well done I say to her. And it's fairly brave really!

That’s a joke. She was Home Secretary and completely failed to reduce immigration whatsoever. In fact, it went up under her watch. If she was so strong, she would have brought the civil service in line and actually done the things she said she would. She’s as useless (or perhaps treacherous) as the rest of the Tories.

I seriously believe that its just a matter of time before we see Suella cross over to Reform. It should already have happened as she is one of the few Tories I actually respect after they have lied to us for so long. She alone has been prepared to listen to the people who elected them.
To my eternal shame, I am now 66 and have voted Tory my entire life but never again. Its Reform for me as they alone listen to what the people of this country want and respect. It's our culture at stake and only Reform are able to rescue us.
