  • Although this vehicle didn't last very long in the 2004 adaptation of The Punisher movie, it's bold statement of pure bad assness sticks in our memory banks. Frank Castle's customized and war ready 1969 Pontiac GTO is a force to be reckoned with for sure!
This is a compilation of all the best and most defining moments of the Punisher's grizzly GTO!

Thomas Jane mock building a true Pontiac engine (with headers) to drop into the Punisher GTO was my favorite scene in the movie.

Frank Castle is the "Punisher" and his car should have had a "Judge" license plate, I hated to see it get wrecked, but he up-graded to a Mopar. I like all the old school American muscle cars.

idk cars form the 60's were fucing beasts...I feel like that car would have taken more of a beating than that tbh. Badass scene though...badass movie. I feel like that movie was way ahead of its time and if it came out now people would love it...it has that like gritty realistic feel to it. A few flaws but still way better than some of the super hero movies coming out back then.

What’s great about this movie is it was crafted as a stand alone film. It’s a shame it didn’t really get as much of a following as it should’ve then. Some people were put off by the violence and realism compared to the other family friendly mindless popcorn grabbing flicks that were out at that time and other childish comic book movies. This lifted the bar and did its own thing. I think it’s aged well with time, especially since now people are seeing the lack in true visceral old school gritty action no holds barred movies, and want them to make more of a come back. Do to this a lot of people are now revisiting this movie, and it’s portrayal of the punisher character, even if they’re not comic book fans.
