In the 2004 movie "The Punisher," the 1969 Pontiac GTO makes a powerful and iconic appearance. Driven by the main character Frank Castle, portrayed by Thomas Jane, the GTO embodies the epitome of classic American muscle cars. Its sleek and aggressive design, complemented by a menacing matte black exterior, captures attention and signifies the relentless nature of the vigilante. With its roaring 400ci engine and remarkable speed, the 1969 Pontiac GTO becomes a symbol of strength and justice, perfectly suited for the driven and determined anti-hero on his quest for vengeance.

Sheesh the GTO. Definitely a fitting car for The Punisher
Indeed! 😁
Still the best Punisher movie and Thomas Jane is still the best Punisher. He really cared about the character and the movie has more soul than any on-screen Punisher stuff before and after it. Very fitting that the best Punisher game also released around the same time as this movie, with Thomas Jane reprising his role.
Indeed! 😉👍
You're hitting a home run with this channel. Informative and interesting videos. And not overlong just to try to appease an alleged algorithm.
Thanks much friend and yes conciseness is my style 🙂👍
Phantasm!!! I wanna know about that car!!!
The GTO is a beast of a car why didn't they have a documentary about this car on the Blu-ray.
Indeed, although not a direct documentary, they do at least have behind the scenes featurettes; which there are some clips of in this video 😉
Yeah, Frank Castle's car is the GOAT. (see what I did there?)
😮
😁😉
A well executed job on the punisher gto video my friend at least to know that both cars have survived filming anyway thanks and have good day bye now.
Thanks much buddy👍
@CarStarz42 you too man.
I remember the EBay auction for that one GTO. At the same time they also auctioned off the Satellite used by Harry Heck to look like a RR. That had been fixed a little as the front fender was not wasted like it was in the movie. I just remember thinking it was strange two movie cars were just being sold on eBay at the time. For like around 10 grand.
Loved the movie and the car, hated seeing it crashed.
Keep up the great work your doing
Thanks much friend and will do 🙂👍
Great stuff about movie cars. Please a little more volume.👍👍🇨🇦
Glad you are enjoying it friend and yes, voice volume has been increased on more recent videos. Thanks 👍
One of the LeMans was originally owned by me. It was the one that was destroyed doing the bridge jump on Cypress Street in Tampa. The reason the others had their paint scheme was also because of my LeMans. When they bought mine it was already pretty much that color and had a GTO nose on it. They pretty much cloned the other ones with some minor changes to all of them.
Very cool and glad it helped to make that movie so great 😉👍

Sounds like the producers were considerate in the making, by not destroying "real" 242 cars. Nice.
