Very Informative! My wife has a 2015 Sport Base 2wd, 58K miles,
Engine has already been replaced under warranty at 49k miles for excessive oil consumption
Coolant reservoir cracked and was replaced under warranty.
A/C compressor locked up and was replaced under warranty.
It needs a new brake fluid reservoir cause you guessed it, its cracking. Not sold separately, have to buy a new master cylinder.
And know both struts are leaking/blown.
    TL:DR its a piece of sh*t.
Really makes me love my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Wj 2wd 4.0 so much more

After watching you, I think doing the clip on the top last would be a good idea for stability

I hope that spring compressor is rated for impact use because if not an impact can strip the threads and release that spring in your face one day. I've had this happen on an brand new oem scissor jack to a pickup that warned not to use an impact. I thought why not? After all, I'm only lifting a little Camry. Half way up the thread stripped and the car fell. All these spring compressors I've found come with the same warning as well as warning to do equal rotations on both sides to ensure equal pressure on both compressors simultaneously.

Im an amateur so I always crank the spring down in the backyard pointed away for me. There’s been a few times where I don’t get it quite tight enough. It wasn’t anything terrible but it did pop out a little bit and throw the nuts and mounts into the backyard. Lol.

@@sbond1963 impacts have a bad habit of stripping threads that aren't impact rated. A drill is probably ok but an impact isn't. So long as the drill don't spin it so much so fast it heats up and you do both sides evenly. Best to just go with a ratchet

Bro that was a BAD strut mount. The strut may have not even been the problem..

Only American brand I would buy is Ford, and that's bad enough, that said, Ill never buy "American" again as its not made here anyway.
Jeep/Chrysler/Mopar is complete garbage. A plastic retainer for a strut mount? That's quality.
Incoming Jeep fanboy hate, so here I go - All Jeep models suck for reliability, not just the ones they try to pretend is new, and those models you expect to upgrade for your dirt and rock jackoffs. They sell "upgrades" for a reason.

You obviously don't know that that Jeep Cherokee is one of the most American made vehicles still around. 72% American made more than any other American manufacturer for the year it was made.

No incoming jeep fan boy hate. The only fan boy is you, pumping Ford. You have to be a Ford fan boy to actually claim Ford is good. It’s horrible. I skipped over the Ford Explorer because I don’t want to die of carbon monoxide poisoning. Found On Road Dead is not the vehicle it’s the driver.
