I think the animated characters, the Kiner’s, and Dave will really get the recognition they deserve in Dave’s movie, or triology if that ends up happening.
In the first two seasons Kiner uses a lot of the music from episode 4 and the result is incredible, but then in season 3 but specially in season 4 the music is different and new and it's so beautiful and emotional. Specially the one in the last season. I always cry every time Sabine's theme. But other totally new awesome themes are Hera Soars, Thrawn's theme, the endings of season 2 and 3 and the music that sounds when Kanan cuts his hair. Kiner is awesome.
My favorite thing about the Filoni's motiffs is they're so short but recognizable and emotional. I mean Ahsoka's theme is recognizable from just three notes. Three notes!

I wish they would release the music from seasons 3 and 4 We got Rebels seasons 1 & 2, the Clone Wars movie, a Clone Wars seasons 1-6 compilation, Clone Wars season 7, Bad Batch season 1: episodes 1-8 and episodes 9-16 Ashoka’s theme is beautiful
What do you mean by a Clone Wars seasons 1-6 compilation? are you refering to the music that is released? or did they do some type of DVD that secretly released more music?
@@hunkulous1462 so Clone Wars Season 7 got a full soundtrack as did the first and second half of Bad Batch Season 1. Bad Batch Season 2 part 1 got a full soundtrack. Rebels seasons 1 and 2 got a soundtrack each. Heck even Tales of the Jedi got one. The Clone Wars Movie got one. The first six Clone Wars Seasons only got a few songs released for each season combined into one album not a full soundtrack each So far of the Kevin Kiner scored animated series, we are only missing Rebels Seasons 3 and 4.
@Kenobi Edits Ludwig has a very good track record. In my opinion, his best work is the Loki series and everything else he does in Marvel, and his work in Star Wars. He's a great composer.
@Kenobi Edits ludwig goransson needs (!!) to have a co-composer because honestly, 70% of his star wars music is kinda trash. It works for most action scenes but that’s about it. Occasionally he has a hit like the mando theme or the music when Luke showed up, but then you have the awful Boba theme and the cringey trap-hihats when the New Republic pilots show up in the spider episode of Mando. Kevin Kiner has been brilliant since the Clone Wars and phenomenal since season 3 of it
Praying that we have Kevin with Ludwing in Ahsoka's series, I'll come back here to see if it happened, he and Ludwing have a similar methodology, it would work great

Eh, Kiner would have done well for sure, but Ludwig really brought a lot of new sounds and materials to the table. Ludwig was able to take it to new musical worlds within SW that I think Kiner wouldn't have and I think Ludwig was perfect for the Mandalorian.
