Thank you for the breakdown. We all know Jimin is a workaholic and a perfectionist. That is just his nature from child class president, math/science whiz, martial arts, contemporary dancer all before becoming an idol. In a vlive he talked about goals and reasoned he’d get there cause he would work towards it. He has also stated about limits that he won’t know his limit till he gets there. He just amazes me. In this album he seems happy and to be having fun. Great analysis.

Jimin's expressions in singing have always been exceptional i don't know anyone else quite like him.
You know what I love most about 'Muse'? It's unapologetically romantic but not fluff. It's bright authenticity is so refreshing, specially in this day and age. He had a vision for this album and imo he nailed it. The Smeraldo flower is such an apt symbol for it.
Also, the 'Who' music video - I think it's set in 1995 (Jimin's birth year), but it reminds me of a lot good stuff from 80s - Footloose, Grease, Patrick Swayze, 'Take On Me' by aha - yet it still has it's own distinctive flavour. Jimin as a dancer is on a whole other level, but in 'Who' he seems to have moved even further up. He ate that choreography!
Like you, I think his best is yet to come. But the growth is crazy from the first one and 'FACE' was already pretty good. This album is a lot more cohesive and intentional and it's crazy how fast he has reached that feat as a songwriter. A really solid album.
He talked with RM about how he felt he needed to go back to singing lessons to find this mid range. A brilliant decision for longevity & consistency during performances. The filming style takes me back to the movie musical's era. Jimin always adds his signature to any given choreography.
It confirms why I'm his ultimate fan. He is a visionary. He is not just a singer who just sings because they have a voice. He has a true artist's mindset.

If you get an opportunity to see the MiniMoniMusic, then your assumption is correct. Park Jimin has more to give and more to achieve. He is not satisfied with his artistic level. I am so proud of his achievements and so excited for what else he will show us.
I think it's a great song. It did make me sad too bc it shows, in my mind, just how difficult it is for the guys, and other famous people, to actually find someone to love...especially as themselves and not the public image they project. Its tough for us nonfamous people also, but not anywhere near as much as for them. I hope all the guys find what/who they're looking for and that ARMY doesn't give them grief when that time comes.

Thank you for this analysis. After watching the MiniMoni album exchange and now your analysis, I feel the same about his growth. I can definitely see the growth and the message that Jimin was trying to convey with both albums and he did it so beautifully. I love Muse album because it's more my taste than Face, but nonetheless, it is clear that Jimin is only scratching the surface. The best is yet to come, I agree. I resonated the most with Rebirth and Slow Dance, but I also appreciate all the songs on the album. Can't wait to see what he has in store moving forward.

He has the same flair Michael added when dancing and performing .. he is truly unique. Michael Jackson will always be my idol , but Jimin has ignite the fire , passion and love for music that I had lost when Michael passed. I’m happy to have him and bts in the music industry 💜. So grateful. They all are amazing , but Jimin does bring memories of Michael to me , the way he is as person , the love for his fans , his heart, just like Michael was. ❤

WHO is a beautiful search & declaration of love. Jimin is low key romantic. His fave movie is The Notebook, that itself explains his themes. Jimin being very exemplary expressive both in singing & dancing made WHO gets thru the hearts & minds of the audience. A perfect expressive storytelling. His vocals, dance lines & visuals nailed it!

I am a senior and have seen many talented artists throughout the years but Jimin hits differently for me. His voice is so beautiful and I feel cannot be duplicated and his dancing skills are top level. I've never been as supportive of any other entertainer as I am of Jimin as I feel he is amazing not only as a talent but as an awesome, kind, intelligent human being.

I thought what he said and discussed about his two albums with RM was extremely interesting and also about his worries about his voice as he's been straining it in BTS and know's if he continues doing that he's not going to be able to sing some BTS songs anymore so went back to basic's and returned to singing lessons.

Jimin is so sincere with his art. Lyrics to the song is so simple yet relatable and impactful. Anyone else can cover this song and do it justice but this song is made for Jimin. It is so him. If you read his letters to his fans, you will know what I mean. Kudos to the Who team cause they captured Jimin beautifully in this song.

The Jimin flair. When i first fell in love with BTS 3 yrs ago i was always saying to myself: the other guys are great but they need the "follow through" that Jimin does. I later realized that his follow through comes naturally to him and is amplified when he is in front of an audience. Like it just happens when his adrenaline fires up. (I am OT7)

It is one of my favourite solo’s so far. The other is ‘Hate’ by Jungkook. Both songs talk of love, Hate is about love that ends and the hopelessness of it and relationships. ‘Who’ is the opposite a hopeful song about love, looking for the happiness in a relationship. Both songs reflect such emotion in a way that’s different to most songs of love. Jimin is a performer that just gets better every release of his music. I love ‘Who’ and the hope it gives about love, the music is great and the movie brilliant.💜

I am obsessed with this song, the video and the choreography. The only “flaw” in the song is that he used autotune in the first lines of the song. I know, and ARMY knows, this was used for an effect only, not because his voice isn’t good. However, I saw several professional music reactors who disliked this, thought it was unnecessary, and sort of dismissed the song because of it. I know others will scream Why do you care? It’s just their opinion!! And nastiness will ensue. But I do care because this song is so good and I would hope that it be fully appreciated by all.

Jimin being inclusive made me realised he’s my BIAS and his EQ is super high towards others.. I wasn’t a fan of KPop, I criticised these people, especially those badass pop stars who are egocentric but that’s changed with BTS and Jimin. Love him to bits. 💜🫶🏼🥰😍❤️

I loved that he shared with Joon that he came up with the choreography. It looks really simple, but those are usually the ones that are harder to pull off. I was right. While I applaud everyone who took up the challenge, and encourage all to continue to participate in the challenge. Jimin's choreo, whether he made it on his own or with input from others, is easier said than done.

Do you think he used things or visuals in the video that represented the members, like the screen that came crashing down, with V's face. Closer was shown twice, doesn't RM have a song called that? I know Jimin has closer than this, and the lyrics where in the video too. I wonder about the crow, the burning car, I thought about whether that repped Yoongi. I don't know it just seemed an interesting thought.
I also wondered if he was just trying to express the look of videos back in the 2000's.
I wondered the same thing. I think they put “Easter eggs” in their MVs either as messages for each other or to give Army something to find.
On the billboard there’s “Just call my name out loud whenever you need me” reminds me of two songs. Micheal Jackson’s “I’ll be there” and James Taylor “You got a friend” but songs embodied the message that Jimin is trying to convey. I may be wrong but it fits.

Whether they want to admit it or not, BTS knows that when they finish in the military, the next stage of their lives will possibly include dating and trying to find a life partner.
The way that some actors and idols have been treated by 'fans' and the media in Korea once they come out as dating is terrible. Letters of apology for loving someone? I guarantee this plays on the members minds.
I hope that BTS can break even more barriers in the idol industry, by showing it is possible to have a partner while still loving your fans AND them loving you.
I mean, TRUE fans are going to think, if BTS is happy then ARMY is happy. And we will show our love and support if things don't work out and if they do. I mean, we want Bangtan Babies eventually don't we?!💜
