DJ Nyame it is not about the amount and note it is not how long you have worked in relation to the amount saved. It is about justifing to the visa officer your capability of funding the trip. If you have worked for 20years and your closing accounts balance is even Ghc50,000 it is enough to get visa once the cost of your trip doesn't exceed Ghc50,000. It is always advisable to have an amount at least twice the cost of your trip as your closing balance. I will join you one day to throw more light on your show.

Look at it this way... how often does the visa interviewer calls for bank statements at the US embassy. NONE, let alone having a sponsor's statement. The trick to the interview is: you have up to 2mins to create an impression of why you should be given a visitor's visa. Research well into possible questions of purpose, one's apeareances speaks well and CONFIDENCE.

Bank statement not always necessary. Sometimes they don't even ask for it.
Going to get a visa in another country, you dont need to havr a residence, the visa you get will permit you to stay for a period and within that time period so you can go for your interview. My friend wàs denied recently, but the accounts was good, however he didnt have any traveling experience .
Lack of travel history might be the reason for his refusal

Please, my daughter was selected for 2022 DV lottery, she filled the DS 260 form but still she hasn't been called for the interview. May are know if she still has the chance or it has expired.
You're running out of time. You're supposed to get your visa either before September ends or end of the year. You need to follow up ASAP.
They are currently working on DV 2024 interviews all the way to September 2024. Then they start processing DV 2025 for those who got selected from this past May 4th. It’s more likely the fiscal interview year for DV2022 is expired already. I stand corrected though
