Wrong!!..Remember most if not all state are no illegal immigrants friendly but some states like NY,California, Texas in past give ssn and EIN to everybody and the last I checked they have or are in the process of changing their because of the recent immigrant misbehavior..do your checks? state laws varies on across board.In ohio one need ssn now to register for a business certificate. Now need ssn and driver license to get EIN number.
A house can be bought cash by anybody living in or outside the USA but if one lives here and buys a house he/she will need ssn to get utilities i.e. electricity, water,gas etc that is why people who live outside uses a "front" who has all the necessary documents for the purchase on their behave.

Before coming to the states, I was married and applied for ITIN in 2016 used it for only tax purposes, EIN on other as you said it’s for business purpose. Overall I’m supporting your statement which people should fight for Nkrataaa

Get it right He came with some sort of documentation which he applied for things early . There is not way he could have got the SSN etc without some sort of documentation remember He said He paid about $25000 for that tu shemu visa which might not be his but because it’s a proper documentation he could use for all sort till it expires remember once it expires what he used it to apply for like SSN it’s forever so you can work with it . There are so many accounts you can open you don’t need to be resident first in uk . If you come on visitor or any short visa in uk , you need to apply for the important things fast till it expires just like he did . Also my advice is get close to lawyers , if you do you would know that your situation might be nothing and could be changed. Best of luck.
Honestly this interview as thought me alot .i came to the Usa with a very high visa which i wont mention the type but i have been able to get my social security which is for work purpose only and have been able to get my drivers licenses but neee to know if i can adjust my status and get green card or work permanent. Hi DJ Nyame, I watched the man the first time and he was spot on. The attorney has also clarify things. But I'll also add a bit of information for your audience. In fact, you are able to get green card through investment(called EB-5) category. Most Asians, Indians and Europeans use that category for their G.card buy buying a business or reall estate asset. Also with the ITIN, you don't even have to be in the US to get an ITIN(a.k.a tax number). Lot of chinese sell on Amazon and other e-commerce platforms in the US with the ITIN number without ever visiting the US.
There are many ways and catergories, but it's unfortunate that most of africans don't find out because of the trend of "follow who came here first" most of the oldies are uneducated and ignorant about the system.

Nana you are right like Nike. I applied for ITIN in 2016 while living in Ghana and I could only used it for tax purpose which was refund until I moved here. It’s not advisable to use ITIN to acquire property in the states. It will make sense to fight for papers. Imagine you have legal issues and trying to use ITIN how possible. SSN is the ish. Like you said EB-5 . The fact is we don’t like to read. I will never buy anything in the states over 7% interest rate that is me.
@@asumadulive you're right with your point. However, ITIN or SSN doesn't interfere with any legal issue. They are all tax numbers. But I agree with you that it makes more sense to rather have the G.card & SSN but in the case u can't ITIN is a better option.
