I finally got around to modding my Nerf Star Wars Jyn Erso/ Captain Cassian Deluxe Blaster. I really wanted to keep the lights and sounds when upgrading the performance of this blaster, but also wanted the option to turn them off. I was able to accomplish all this in this mod and hopefully this guide will allow you to do the same. Using a MOSFET in Nerf modding Is extremely helpful and not as hard as you may think. This rewire definitely took quite a bit of time, but is definitely wroth it. Hope you enjoyed and learned something from this video.

I know that ot has a mosphet but can you twist the leads of the thermoster and if the mosphet gets fryed is it a series circut or parelel circut. I only use hmirs so im not runing lipo curent through the system
Can this be used to rewire a soldier 76 blaster? If so what colors are the positive and negative for led lights?

I did the exact same thing but with Krakens, ive noticed however the wheels seem to be offset to the right of the blaster. Also it dosent seem to have the power of my other builds with the exact same parts as this. Any pointers?
I just modded mine erso blaster also. Vals on a 3s. I think the barrel is too long, plain and simple.
i am almost done with this build, its my first ever. i am having trouble with the uv leds. i am testing on a 4xAA pack but they don’t turn on, i wired the middle pin on the switch to the red wire coming from the switch and the normally closed pin to the positive onthe leds. the negative from leds to the main battery negative, is that all correct?

Actually ran out of characters in the description box. Lipo is a 2S 1000mah turnigy graphene. Should be a link in my Stardust vid.

Fuck this is my next mod 'step-up' and it definitely seems like a daunting task. Awesome job on this mod guide, for sure the most informative one I've watched so far. That must be how they wire up the regulator as well.

Awesome Guide.. I just liked and sub to your channel. You have great videos on mods and Nerf info..! How do you like those Fang Rv 130 motor on the CA? Do you think it can handle 3s. I remember FDS did a 2s and 3s Chrono test. Did you ever try it on those Fang Rv 130 motors ? I am a newbie so maybe the Fangs RV are just for 2s only? If you did try 3s what kind of results did you get?

Cool..! Sorry for the newbie question is Eclipse a type of cage? thats all I could find . I talk to FDS and he told me to be careful about the OFP cages.. I am going with the containment crew cages. Yes. It's a type of OFP cage that's metal. I have a very in-depth review on my channel about it. Yeah OFP cage for this blaster doesn't really work as of now.

Yes, he's currently working on a Gen2 version. It's made to fit a Stryfe or Rapidstrike.

what are mosfet and why did you use them?
MOSFETS are a device that allows you to use a low discharge battery and use low guage wire and have it be able to take high demands. He used them because their generally considered safer than normal.
Dart Storm So the battery that he put in was smaller than normal because of this? And still gives the same power as a larger battery without it? Sorry for the newbie questions. Thanks for answering.
The MOSFET allows him to use the smaller battery. If he didn't use it the small battery would drain all of its charge rapidly. Think of this as something that allows small amounts of current (Amps) to be turned into larger amounts of Amps. Also no problem In the nerf community it is out task to help the new people around here. I was like you a year earlier. ;)

Containment Crew's cage is the only one I know of currently that actually fits. I have a friend working on one though.
