ZanettesPlace oh absolutely. There's tons of usable mounting surfaces up at the fore end. Battery relocation to the stock would be fairly easy.

Watch the Foam Data Services rewire video and keep the lights and sound working - if even i can do that then it can't be hard. Shame to waste one of the best functions of the blaster by gutting it so much...

Mark Britchford the lights and sound work on the stock battery setup, so I would need to adjust for any change in voltage. My battery is nominally 1.4V higher than the original setup, so components as sensitive to power as LEDs would require a little more calculation to ensure they run properly. Additionally, the sound on this was downright annoying to me. Since this is an iron man themed blaster, I would change those LEDs to blue also. Either way I didn't have the time money or inclination to keep these features at the time of construction, though the lights are on the list to update down the line.

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/192429015570 is all you need to protect the lights and sound circuit. I use a Turnigy Bolt 11.4v battery in mine and everything works just fine.

Sound circuit is annoying, I was scrapping that no matter what. As for the lights, they weren't high on my list of priorities. A buck converter would work fine as far as I can tell, but I was pressed more for time than anything else in the actual build and did not have one, or the components to build one. Flashing little LEDs don't mean much unless you play at night. Short answer: Sure it's not hard, but I don't really care.
