I don’t want to hear one person outside the US say Americans are geography challenged after I saw this 😂 that was hilarious especially after he told them that was Chad.
Its hard to remember countries that don't have distinctive features. Congo has the rain forest, Somalia has the horn, South Africa has the south, Egypt has the Nile, Morocco has the strait, Chad.... has nothing. And lets be honest Americans will be "geography challenged" in comparison to say Europeans.. eg. I live in England, but I'd have to go to France or Switzerland to ski. Whereas you don't need to leave the US to go skiing... Plus its further to travel for Americans to get to places, in Europe we're pretty much surrounded by interesting places and we don't have to cross the Atlantic/Pacific to get there... and naturally, you learn more about the world as you travel.. unless you're Steve Nicol or Craig Burnley.

Why is not knowing alaska worse than not knowing poland? Alaska is a relatively unknown, sparsely populated and isolated state within a country. Poland is an entire country in the middle of the most important continent (in terms of western history) with a 2000 year old history that has been involved with several western and global events.... in the grand scheme its far more embarrassing to not know where poland is

In Europe they grew up playing football at football academies and did less schooling than other people. In America, people don't care about geography and forget it as soon as they learn it.
@@JosephMartin7 for sure, the European panalists are probably at a disadvantage. I just can't understand not having the curiosity to know a world map and where countries are etc., at least for countries relevant to them like the US, if not less relevant ones like Kyrgyzstan etc.
