- Here you see how I apply Carbon Collective Trim Coating to my brand new kitchen sink.
A few pointers, if the sink is not new, you will need to thoroughly clean the sink and remove and grease using a ipa wipe.
It is advised that gloves and face mask are to be worn to prevent harm. I didn’t wear gloves due to using a thick applicator so wont reach the skin.
Hi mate, do you have a picture of the under sink clips used to secure this sink to the worktop please? I’ve recently brought this sink but the clips provided do not match the ones highlighted on the installation manual. Thanks in advance!
Hi, Under I don’t, we haven’t lived at that house for over 4 years either. Sorry.
Why do you do that? It must be done first thing after installation? I thought its material was very resistant to heat and stains. What is your experience with it? Thanks.
My experience are it ads a layer of protection again uv and miner scratches over time I do it every 6 month. Think of it a a black peice of trim on your car that will go gray over time.
One more question please! Following the application, how long you must wait before starting using the sink? Thank you in advance!
Id probably suggest 12 hours, I believe it tells you on the instructions
Hi buddy , you got a link please, where to buy the little bottle of trim coating?
Thanks
Hi,
If you google Carbon Collective Trim coating, it should come up with it
Is that Franke Granite sink? Can the coating use on Franke Kubus KBG 120 Fragranite Onyx?
I would say No, if it is granite.
