Howdie from Canada 🇨🇦 Sk thinking about how you made this going to try to make smaller bails for me rabbits got over 100 of them got to feed them pretty Good keep them happy keeps me fed cause got Gout really bad and rabbits and turkeys and chickens l can eat lots of not much red meats or wild meats sad but have to keep me strength up thks for sharing with us I signed up glad l did bring more ideas to the Table ok later it's 2024 June won't stop raining we need the hay off get second crop thks 😊
Can a vertical slot be cut through the top of the box all the way to the lower horizontal slot on both sides (at the spot where you inserting the rod @4:30). That would made so easy to load the twines!
Just long enough to get the ram down to the correct spot. It's easiest to leave the too off and make the ram and such. Then you can figure out what the stroke will be and make the tie slots accordingly.
I like the design, the continuous process, and no hinges.
Thank you very informative. And educational.
this is great. genius iteration of the manual baler

great show very helpful
At the Sycamore IL steam show that is often the big star of the show. Kid's love the mini-bailer. :)
Thanks for explaining. I am planning on making one of those. I have recently purchased a scythe and this will be what I do with the grass clippings 😉
I think they look the best with grass instead of straw.
Your a genius!
Perfect for goats!!!

Quite probably, I'm not really sure what you are meaning however just about anything is worth trying on it.
@@bc65925 think there meaning to make the slots where the twine go through be on what would be the top and bottom of the baler instead of the sides
How long are the metal pieces that attach to the axe handle
