The little things stuck through the end are copper or steel pipes they keep the bale from getting pushed out the end, when it gets to the end it allows them to really crank the pressure down. They put the strings on the follower before the final close up pull them through the sides. Pass them through the pipes. One kid ties top one bottom. With a trucker's hitch. They pull the pipes after the string is through but before the knot is tied. Then they move the pipes to the front and start stuffing it again.

Eso ya paso a la historia, lo utilizaban hace 5 décadas.Ahora existen maquinas que empacan en 5 minutos lo que ellos lo hacian en un dia.
