    Quick tip for the slots so you dont have a build up at the top corners, you can trim back the folded part for overlap without build up so its even, but keep the part that goes into the slot so it holds it.

      Hey sonic. If it’s not this style, you can use the metal Weatherstripping with the rubber bead. It’s installed with the door shut, but will work on just about any door that this video will not. I hope this helps.

      Hey Alden. Usually you can grab an end of it with a pair of pliers and yank it out… I have seen it where it has been tack nailed in before if that’s the case you would need to use a chisel and busters pin nails out to get the new piece to slide in. I hope this helps painters tool rocks!

    I replaced the weather stripping on the door with new product but it is very loose and there's no way to fix it tight in the groove. Any tips to get it to lock in there? If the fins won’t grab. The next solution would be to move onto the beaded metal weatherstripping with the rubber. Not sure why that wouldn’t work with the fins, this is not the preferred way but you could also use tiny finishing tack nails through the gym to hold the fins of the Weatherstripping . I hope this Helps

    • @arnoldfrackenmeyer8157
      @arnoldfrackenmeyer8157 Před rokem
