- The third of six sons, Ron Kenoly was born in Coffeyville, Kansas, in 1944, into a family where he knew both joy and heartache. Ron Kenoly is an American Christian worship leader, singer, and songwriter whose expressed mission is "to create an environment for the manifest presence of God". "My mother put happiness and love into our household," he says. "We were poor, but she made us so happy that we didn't realize we were poor." Ron's paternal influence was not as strong.
"My father was in the military and gone all of the time," he says. "I didn't realize just how much I missed him until I became a father myself and found that there were things that I had no idea how to do because he'd never been there to show me how, or to model them for me." His mother used to take the whole family to the Union Baptist Church every Sunday. It was in this church that Ron gave his life to Christ at a very early age and started singing. His musical style is one of jubilant praise and individual excellence on musical instruments.

This is very outdated. Ron Kenoly divorced and has remarried since. Most of his family are mad about him according to one of his sons I spoke to. I won't say more as the last time I spoke about this, I got him and some of his fans throwing rocks at me. I can understand the need for privacy as the family role model he use to have is long time gone and if what his own family says is true, I can't call this man a christian anymore.
I enjoyed and still enjoy worshipping the Lord through RK songs, but sadly his story reminds me of the modern day's Israel Houghton. I never felt as connected to his music.
We all need to repent to the Lord and God willing both men will truly repent.
OK, you seem to know a lot, tell me, Did he divorce his wife, or did his wife divorce him? Also, what about that makes him not a Christian anymore?
@@darelet you seem to know more… but ask yourself, what’s the difference if he asked for divorce or she asked for it. There’s no difference in there. The issue here, is not a divorce. The issue is, if you did something wrong, kept doing it and the only way to get away with was to divorce, whatever you left there, was never healed. See that’s the difference between a christian and a religious person. Christians seek repentance, and therefore they can’t live withount trying to mend what’s broken. We are asked to forgive and seek forgiveness if you apologize and repent but people around you still have something against you, it’s not your problem anymore. But if you you did something wrong and just left and ignored whatever the issue was leaving people broken and your own family witnessing against you. Either your family really hate you, or you really did something wrong but you won’t admit it therefore you haven’t repent, therefore you better ask yourself who you are as a christian. It’s like this generation saying they can sin and do whatever they want but keep their title of “christians”. Sorry either you are giving fruits of the spirits, either you’re not. In heaven, the books are gonna be open, there won’t be prizes for the christian records, bur for a life of integrity and repentance before God.

The difference is, if she asked for it, he cannot do anything about it. You cannot, legally or otherwise, force recognition of a marriage where a spouse has successfully contested a divorce - yes, you can be divorced against your strongest wishes. Unless if you mean that you want to imagine yourself married when your marriage has officially been annuled.

You seem to know a lot of intimate details about this couple, jeez! Otherwise I will assume you are speaking hypothetically, in which case my response is why make that assumption? Could be that he tried everything to keep the marriage together, including forgiveness (for whatever wrongs) and the wife refused. Unless you know better as a close source, I'll advise that you do not comment so authoritatively on what might have transpired.
By the way, divorce is accepted under certain grounds, even in the new testament. This means, Christians can get divorced without falling out of line with the bible, which therefore means, one can be divorced and still not be less of a christian.
Separation is allowed, but not divorce. To marry again, while the first spouse is still alive, is an on going habitual sin ( living in adultery). We christians sin sometimes, but do not have a life style of sin.
And that man has the audacity to pretend as if nothing happen smh. Just another Christian baring a false testimony, not shocking to see these days
I listen to Ron's more current music. I don't think he would be offended by a Christian calling him anything since he has repented of mixed religion and his past.

@@marvellousosunde9097calling out someone over their sin is not judgment. In fact, the Bible tells us we must call them out. He is not living a gospel life and others who may not know any better could be influenced by his poor choices. There's a difference between judg8ng and shining a light on improper behavior, especially when the person behaving in unchristian ways can influence those who are not yet believers or new to the faith...
