LYRICS
She's the girl of my dreams
She's the girl on my mind
She's used to play me for the fool
'Cause she's the hurting kind
I lost my heart in the East
Another part in the West
You better jump back, baby
You're the girl I love the best
I'm gonna ride the wind
There's nothing I won't do
I'm coming up real fast
I got my eyes on you
See you're eyes of love
Well tell me what you see
I see your long black hair
Moving over me, yeah
Oh yes, I feel good now now
Let's talk about love
Let's talk about love
Let's talk about love
Let's talk about it
Alright, alright, alright, I got my eyes on you
Alright, alright, alright, I got my eyes on you, yeah
With my heart over here
Another part over there
I still got pretty love
And baby, I don't care
Oh, let's talk about love
Let's talk about love
Let's talk about love
Alright, alright, alright, I got my eyes on you
Alright, alright, alright, I got my eyes on you
Yeah, oh, oh, let's talk about it, aah
Don't blame me
Oh, won't hurt you
Don't blame me
It's plain to see you know that it'll be yeah, oh, oooooh
Aah, aah, aah
She's the girl of my dreams
She's the girl on my mind
She's used to play me for the fool
The hurting kind
Gonna 'round the world Nothing I won't do
Coming up real fast I got my eyes on you
Alright, alright, alright, I got my eyes on you
Alright, alright, alright, I got my eyes on you
Alright, alright, alright, I got my eyes on you
Alright, alright, alright, I got my eyes on you
Alright, alright, alright, I got my eyes on you
Alright, alright, alright, I got my eyes on you Oooh!
Alright, alright, alright, I got my eyes on you
Alright, alright, alright, I got my eyes on you

Who else is doing a retro Robert Plant solo binge? It takes me back to the 80s when I was in my early 20s
That wailing scream breaks all sound barriers!
No It doesn't. That is just a conspiracy lol You were never here
Robert Plant's solo work is all worth listening to. He never really tried to replicate Zep (well maybe on an occasion or two) and has always been open to new talent and influences. RP is my fave vocalist ever.
Totally 💯 agree!!! Obsessed with Planty since ‘73 !!!! He will always be my favorite vocalist 💜🎶🎤🎼🇬🇧🎵🎸
Totalement d'accord avec vous 💯😉👌
I like it too, it's different from Zeppelin but very cool.
I think he said in an interview the 80s were just him having fun and not giving a crap
Burning down one side and calling to you has a Zeppelin vibe
I love all songs from Robert Plant he is my favorite singer of all time!
Plant is criminally underrated as a solo artist
Don't use those two words together ever again
? @@Vibeagain
No he is not !
@@carlaiannuccillo6677Yes he is.
Like Zeppelin....every LP is different...
We watched him film this, near the Pleasure Beach, South Pier and tram lines close by. Chatted for ages, readily gave autographs and posed for photos. Always a hero, superb singer and top bloke!
Who thought Blackpool could look so glamorous? Wonder if they went for the chips ‘n’ mushy peas for supper? Superb video!
Best rock song ever. This got me into Robert Plant a long time before I grew to appreciate Led Zeppelin.
Robert Plant...Always had it...Always will!😉👍
Amen to that!
Were 19 when this song came out and I am African Americans love this song
Robert finally got his rock voice back on this album, after years of side stepping and healing.
Well he sounded great on the earlier songs such as 'Slow Dancer' and 'Like I've Never Been Gone' and others
"I Can breathe Again says it clear. Realizing Robert lost his son, his best friend and that "band.. well, we should be thankful this guys showed everyone what real guts and character are for artist. Some of them literally bleed this stuff.
"She's the girl in my dreams. She's the girl in my mind. She's playing me for a fool. She's the hurting kind." Perfect.
No grass grows under Plant’s feet! Always doing something new no matter what happens! Just adore him! ♥️
Well said
Maybe my favorite Robert Plant solo track ever
Joe Haas ship of fools.. if I were a carpenter and 29 palms are way better!
no1nestandsalone Fate Of Nations stands as his best solo album by far.
Mike Bacon O.B.E. Yes it was
Mike Bacon O.B.E. I still like this song now. Just now discovered it. It’s great!
"Big log" is his best.
This is by far my favorite song of his.
Essential rock guitar tone ! This rocks !
Big log is mine, but this is very good too !
Ship Of Fools is pretty good as well.
@@earth249 That and "In the Mood"are my two favorite Robert Plant songs, but,I like this one, too!
Favorite Plant solo album of all time! What a group of players he had for this one!
I was on the left hand train of the roller coaster when this was filmed. I was 16 at the time and I had no idea who Robert Plant was back then. We just happened to be waiting in the que line for the ride when we ended up being part of the video.
Is this Blackpool pleasure beach?
@@r7cooYes it is Richard. The roller coaster is the Grand National.
Great stuff pal. It’s the world’s best woodie 🎢
@@AWalkontheWildSideBlackpool oh hi Stephen 😁 thanks for checking it out. I'm in the right hand train as we look at it at 6 seconds haha. Just to the right of the girls shoulder. I can remember that night as clear as if it was yesterday.
SUCH an amazing song but this video makes me laugh so hard, good to know he doesn't take himself too seriously
If "Tall Cool One" from *Now And Zen* had announced to the world that Robert Plant had finally made his peace with his Zeppelin past, "Hurting Kind (Got My Eyes On You)" from *Manic Nirvana* announced to the world that he had embraced it. And that's a beautiful thing. 👍🏻🤘🏻🥁🎸🎤
FATE OF NATIONS. Will always be my favorite but his songs from videos when MTV were so great. HEAVEN KNOWS, I BELIEVE, BIG LOG...SHIT HE has never had a bad song. Great voice that rolls with the changes. All the Kings Horse's is so PERFECT. I grew up & grown old with this man. Partied w/ him in Dallas at Mother Blues & ran into him on a beach in Fl while he was grieving over His son & Bonzo. I asked nothing except to join me under the shade of a Palm tree. It was surreal but it is in my heart. 2 people who were in pain just enjoying the ocean & some sexy looks. I will always remember front row at Fate of Nations in Sunrise Musical Auditorium. Front row & I swear he kept singing in front on me. I believe he was trying to remember a younger woman who asked nothing but opened her heart & shared a hour or so just telling stories with our hearts.💙💙
Robert plant rocks
Really?Yes...Robert,Jimmy,JohnPaulJones,& Bonzo...all genius's in their own right...It was so sad losing Bonzo..I cannot imagine being a member of THAT band...& losing a dear road brother.Takes a certain wild, free ,gypsy soul to live this life...Talent comes in handy...& golden looks.
I love the whole album, in 1990 I bought a 90 minute audio cassette tape SONY with "Manic Nirvana" by Plant on one side and "Otrider" by Page on the other side and I still have it.
Havent heard that in so long... Great tune.
As a African Americans age 19 when this song came out love you Robert plant
I forgot all about this song . Digging Deep Box Set brought me here. Brings back a lot of memories. Was lucky to see Page Plant twice in Toronto and Plant solo at Maple Leaf Gardens with Stevie Ray Vaughan .
Plant and Stevie?! Peak legendary
Even in 1991 Plant could belt it out. If Zep had survived, this is the direction I could see them go.
Kick ass song, complimented by that classic Plant wail!!
"I lost my heart over here, another part over there. I still got plenty left, so baby I don't care...."
Imagine a world where bonzo didn't die and the complete Zeppelin did this song... HOLY MOTHER OF GOD
Had tix to seek Zep in’79 then Bonzo tragically didn’t wake up one day. Long live the Zep. Bestest ever
@@jeffreywinding6763 died in 80
it's perfect the way it is.
This song is a classic, all of Robert Plant's songs are classics.
I'm glad for this FUN surprise!! I turned right to it the minute I saw the notification.
Robert looked cute in this one too, I was amazed by his choice of clothes, my thinking was, that's a Leo man for ya! Always shining brightly, naturally to be the center of attention. Lol.
And he adds sexiness to his songs, and body movements, that keep me mesmerized.
In this video, Robert totally let loose, with no hesitations, or inhibitions. He seemed to put his "all" into it. Very talented, using his God-given gift, all the way!!! Thanks Robert. You're a good boy. We love you!❤
I never cease to be amazed at your constant fire for singing, and making music. Nobody can stop you! Keep going brother. ✌😍🌹🌈🎸🎼🎵
I just now came back to this comment that I left here a while back. I wanted to watch this video again.
And after reading over the comment again, it makes me wonder, does Robert Plant ever read these, or does he know how much we love him, and appreciate his music?
"Pretty boring"? I beg to differ. Please listen to each RP album in its entirety before you say his solo career is boring. Ummm, he worked with massive musicians, in addition to himself, a massive talent, of course. Look at the liner notes and see who's there; you will be impressed. If you listen to only one album, try "Now and Zen". That is pretty amazing, as a Robert Plant album, as an 80s album, as a great modern rock and roll album. Pretty boring? I think not.
His solo career is amazing!
***** YEP, agreed! Have you listened to his latest release,"Lullaby and the Ceaseless Roar" (2014)? It's pretty great!
Jeanie DeCoster I only heard the song Rainbow so far. It's a great song! Maybe I'll get the full album at some point!
***** Yes, I really love "Rainbow"! It's just a great one! If you like that song, please give a listen to RP's 2005 album, "Mighty Rearranger". Personally it has become one of my favorite albums of the 21st century! Remarkable work. Every song is special in some way, excellent. His band there is incredible, the production of it so top-notch. You will love it, I think.
:)
WHOS THE SNOWFLAKE THAT SAID BORING?
Manic Nirvana to me is the most rocking of his solo works and the closest he ever got to his classic Zeppelin sound especially on this dynamite rocker
He didn't write enough of these catchy songs. 29 Palms was another corker.
I saw Rob play this live when I was a young teenager, really very good!! ‘appy days!!!
Colin Luby did he screetch like this too? Lol
I think he did a bit, yep
2:43 ... Robert let Percy out for just a moment.
I love All of Robert Plants song and what an awesome voice!!!.
The whole album rocks.
This song and Burning Down One Side are my favorite Plant solo efforts.
Glad Robert is still doing his work of art to this day.
Just heard this song for the first time on the radio. I just pulled over because I know it sounds like Robert Plant but it isn’t Zepplin. Wow great tune from a long time ago. The man was ahead of his time. What a voice
(Tight band)
Love this song.
Even today this song gets me. Percy came out to play
Brilliant track, play it LOUD
"I lost my heart over here, another part over there. I still got plenty left, so baby I don't care."
"It's plain to see you know the real me."
ROBERT PLANT FOREVER!
Great song but it deserved a higher chart placing it made number 45. The video is filmed in Blackpool, Lancashire. I liked big log which hit number 11 in 1983 and heaven knows which hit number 33 in 1988
He still has my heart, Robert Plant still gots it& no other singer can compare to him
GREAT SONG!!
I'm a simple man, i see Robert Plant
I click 🤟🤟🤟

A MASTERPIECE of Musical ART . . .
You rock Percy..
Love when I ride in my car with this tune playing loud
In far sunny Siberia we love your creativity
I just checked the volume...
Awwwww
It’s at Max.
1990 Kicking Everyone's Ass
RP
LEGEND 🤠🥃💥🎸
One of the rarest of occasions or 02 when Plant's Golden God Zeppelin personality came out in his solo career
Robert rode the golden god wave from about 1990-1993, culminating with his collaboration with Pagey a couple years later.
Damn I love this song. Still got the EP, too.
Another Robert Plant video, that I come back around for another visit! I like his choice of wardrobe. And that main model blond girl, who is she? Did he choose her, and arrange to have her in this video? What, does he prefer blonds over brunettes? Lol.
It's good talent and entertainment!! Thanks, Sir Robert. 🥀
Love him, not seen this before it's Blackpool, wish I had been there! Only 28 years ago!
I thought that was Blackpool Tower that I saw in the background a couple of times. Thanks for the confirmation!
Robert plant at his best this song rocks beside heaven knows
Fun song and video. Phil Johnstone was such a bright light. I've never read a comment from RP regarding his passing. They seemed to be very close and worked together quite closely (Now and Zen, Manic Nirvana - maybe more, I'm not sure) including this song. RIP Phil - gone way too soon.
Zep is my fave band ever but as a solo artist RP really blows me away. His projects after Zep are all superior to most anything else I’ve listened to.
I nominate Robert Plant to be in the RocknRoll Hall of Fame again for his solo career.
The song’s from 1990 but to me it feels like the most 80’s song ever lol
Oh definitely good comment
1989 actually..
I think it's he nauseating overuse of the snare drum..... snare, snare and more snare like that's the only drum.
1990 was basically just 1989 part 2.
I love it when Plant screams at 2:43.
Confounded Bridge
Everybody
1:41 so , what happened....
This was the music that motivated me....
Why am I single...
I love this song and I’m a bit partial to the pink shawl poncho thingy ❤️ 💕 💗 😂
Were 19 when this song came out
WOW! This video is perfect!
I love this song and heaven knows classics
One of kind tune ... one of my favourite 🤘🤘
Wow this guy is amazing, going to see himm in a couple months.
Awesome. I just love it.
+kimberly longman You are here also? No way.
Yes I am you know me and Robert Plant
That is so true
The entire studio long play, "Manic Nirvana" is a classic...including the b-side of "Watery Bent" for this song!
Simply amazing.
31 years later.. Still Kicks Ass.. Thanks Robert Anthony Plant....
Robert Plant - 'Hurting Kind' noventero el Maestro Plant!!!!
I had to come watch it again! Love this man! Since 3rd grade!!
Here we are at the same level of super drill ACDC, so not over the top but directly on the deep interstellar space
Long live the 80's!!!
Wow! WELL DONE! Absolutely fabulous! Alright! 😉

The best All Right-chorus ever!
Dug this out of my tape collection over the weekend, hadn't played this for years!. Forgot how great this track was.
