LYRICS
Tie dye on the highway, see the garlands in your hair
If you're going my way, come along
What a beautiful sky, we just had to stop and stare
See the beautiful colors fill the air
Oh, just the messengers of peace...
Oh, do you remember across the burning years
Sweet smell of the mystery I recall
Hey, mi amigo, a smile through all my fears
O high Olympus touched our soul
With the messengers of peace and the company of love
All the passion and release and love from up above
Ah, say you will come back with me
Say you will come back
"We must be in Heaven, man!"
Oh yeah, now come on!
Tie dye on the highway, the wheels still turn around
Dance to the mariachi, take my hand
Hope springs eternal when laughter's feeling sound
Move in the mystic wasted land
With the messenger of peace and the company of love
All the passion and release, and love from up above
(You know that it is true)
From the desert in my heart, where the innocent may love
All the passions they release and the love from up above
Ah, say you will come back with me
Say you will come back
Ah, say you will come back with me
Say you will come back
"Three days! Three days!
We just love you. We just love you."

This gentleman NEVER gets enough credit for the great harmonica work that he does! Along with the vocals, a truly wonderful artist with a hot band!
Long live led
You're right, Plant is such a great singer, that you forget that he can kick it on harmonica as well. "When the levee breaks" is a prime example.
No political divisions, no ridiculous cultural and social addresses being addressed, just everyone having a great time together listening to some straight-up great rock and roll. How I miss those days!
Good Ole days are gone forever!!!
Perfectly Said
Fuckin amen 🙏😎
It references Woodstock with “We must be in heaven, man!” Woodstock was the embodiment of political engagement and a strong part of the anti-war movement.
ROBERT PLANT IS THE BEST AND STOP 💯🔝⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💘
ROBERT PLANT FOREVER! LONG LIVE ROBERT PLANT!
Been listening to Robert Plant since 1969
Wish so badly that I were there with all the beautiful people.
No mask,,no anti smoking, bringing your cooler....those were the best
no distracting smart phones either
Robert Plant - still the best front man ever
"manic Nirvana" was one of the most impressive Robert Solo Albums! and it is a amazing Album till today!
I agree!
Loved it! So many great songs, 🎶❤️Thanks for sharing your voice, & life with us. I have grown up & old with him. 💋
Agreed.
I completely agree with that statement too!

Robert Plant is the only Rock singer with this amount of stage presence. Can't keep your eyes off him. He has it all...Georgeous guy. Love him❤
from a woman's point of view its ok. I just hear the playing
Does any diehard Zep fan notice RP's harmonica solo had the "Nobody's Fault But Mine" solo in it? WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Omg
Yeah at around 3:30...Nice callback to that song.
YES
Still sounds good 30 years later
@@michaelparish9645 I can't believe this was 30 years ago, damn!
I just had an obnoxious nostalgic cry.
30 years later and I still get the same feeling hearing this song. Such a great rockin' tune!
It reminds me a bit of when he played In The Mood live due to the song's good vibe and the audience's warm reception.
Catherine Sostaric yes! Me too. I still get goose bumps.
Очень красивая песня!
I always feel the same listening to Robert's amazing voice. The soul of a woman is created below. He has my heart with his voice. Bod not bad either.🤣🤣 Georgeous guy. Still as sexy and talented as ever❤❤
Dirt in the hole is one I love for sure
This man...unstopable, powerful force of nature. Love all his work.

This song always reminded me of the end of the hippie movement..
Does anyone else notice how hard the main riff kicks straight after the harmonica solo? Epic!
Yeah Bro. Straight up kicks Ass !!!!
This performance was spectacular. But just as amazing was the sweet vibe of these lyrics and the passion behind them. The band and audience were both feeling all the highs from the experience. A great time in rock history. And the best voice in rock, still to this day!

I would so love to meet him. I learned my 5th Gr Grandparents were born in Birmingham. He was a Blacksmith and worked all over the Black Country.
Robert Plant rocked the hell out of Kknebworth both in 79' and 90'!
Yes he did! Legendary! I encourage everyone to check out the 79 show . That Zeppelin show with Bonzo laid it down .Where have all the good times gone? What passes for music today is garbage. Weak, no edge dreck!
I wish he felt the same about 79. Sure there were mistakes, but theres some absolute top form versions of some songs from those two dates (esp Achilles and Kashmir)
@@GTAfan421 I love the live version of Kashmir in Knebworth 79 with superb audio sound and video when the DVD came out.
Agreed. I was at both. 😃
Travelled from USA to see Zep at Knebworth in 79', sometimes wonder if it was just a dream...
Watching this brings tears to my eyes, because people are close together and enjoying themselves. Praying that we have more of these times sometime within the next year!

Where can be find a man similar him!!!!
Our generation had Robert Plant; today's generation has Taylor Swift and Kanye West. Need I say more!
i can confirm, as a member of the younger generations we need us a robert plant
I laughed out loud. They don't come close in talent.
What a great feeling to have shared space on earth the same time as Plant did.
Yeh. One time I was trippin' my balls off; and, all I could think of was, Robert Plant must've gone through this.

HE'S STILL WALKING AROUND HERE RIGHT NOW. COOL
Unbelievable and so very cool. That harmonica is so awesome
I was fortunate to see Zep twice. Once in April of 1970 and again in January of '75, both shows in Minneapolis at the old Met Sports Arena. Zep in 1970 was my first big name rock concert...what a way to start out, right! In '75, our audiance was the first in America to hear music from Physical Grafitti...Kashmir smoked everyone that night! At the end of the song, a young lady sitting next to me said, "That was a rather nice tune!" No doubt! Years later, my wife Debi and then saw Plant live in Sioux City, Iowa in 1990 or there abouts. His band was promoting Nirvana which included this song. The audiance was given a gift that night. Not only was the entire show great, but the band did "Going Back to California" from the Zep days. Wow...what a gift, will never forget it! Being only 20 feet from the front of the stage, I think my wife fell in love with Robert that night!
4:55-4.57 - what a smile! :) I wish it were for me..:) Robert, you've always been and still are the best!
Man this is the first time I came across and all I can say is WOW! Fantastic song that is rockin' with harmony. Robert Plant never sits still. He never rests on his past achievements numerous as they are. He always expands and explores and does so right up to this day. This is what you call MUSICAL LEGEND.
Omg, one hell of a party! Robert rocks at any age, time, and space! 😍
Robert Plant... the magic man
Люблю всех,кто слушает и душой понимает настоящую музыку!Счастья Вам и привет из Санкт Петербурга!!!
This brings back wonderful memories of seeing Robert Plant in the early 90’s. The show was in San Antonio and an unknown band (at the time) named The Black Crowes was the opener. What a great night!
Robert and his harmonica! Doesn’t get better
This is coolest Robert Plant song and video ever made. KILLER cool.
Ithik too!!!

This has a breathtaking rythm and the band are just fantastic
Beautiful song and it’s by the legend Robert Plant!!!
God this band he had back then was so good! I wish he'd bring them back now!
Please universe! Let this music come back
fantastic song, one of the all-time great voices!
he is the quintessential rock singer
and an incredible band with its changes in key
Oh how I love this band! I'd give anything to go back in time to have seen them live! Now & Zen and Manic Nirvana are part of my daily playlist to this day. ✌❤

Robert Plant, The Power Plant of Rock!!
Awesome music & video.
Its just the type of Rock I like.
A great song from an underrated album.
The Best singer!!

The King 👑
1990 was a great summer. Long, hot and sunny. First summer since the fall of the Berlin Wall and the end of the Cold War. Sense of optimism in the air. I was only 10, but I still remember it pretty clearly. Would have been so good to go to this show.
Also, I think this is probably my favourite Robert Plant song. It's just great, and he was a much better live performer singing in this older, deeper register than his helium-fuelled efforts in the 1970s.
Wonderful video.
So hot. Love the rhythm of this song. Timeless.
What an eternal voice and presence!
I still listen to this all the time. Amazing solo efforts by Robert.
I was so happy when he put out new music. Love his voice, his sense of humor and him
He’s a smart man...lovely as can be. Bonus!...purdy to look at too! Weeeeee!
@@joanmcdaniel843 I had a chance to meet him at Red Rocks because I carried a photographers case up to the concert are. She told me she would wave when she was going to talk to him. But I chickened out going down the stone stairs because it was raining. She sent me 8 black and white photos of him performing. Biggest regret of my life.
I have a new favourite song. This tune flat out rocks and Robert Plant is just straight up sexy. He can groove to the music too. The lyrics are awesome. I'd like to think everyone that ever walked this earth has some of Jesus' DNA. It is apparent to me Robert Plant got a little more than some. Blessings come in many different forms. Excellent performance - also Doug Boyle on guitar, a seriously talented player.
That's not Doug boyle that's Phil johnstone
@@louiszippittelli9345 Nope - Phil Johnstone is playing keyboards in this song. Doug Boyle is playing the turquoise Hamer guitar.
When Boyle had become Plant's guitarist on the Now and Zen album and tour he really did play quite well. I was impressed with his solos on songs other than "Heaven Knows" and "Tall Cool One" which Page performed the solos.
@@louiszippittelli9345 Phil Johnstone is the keyboardist, Charlie Jones on bass, Doug Boyle guitar and Chris Blackwell on drums
Q voz, q cabello, q movimientos, este hombre lo tiene todo.

I've said this many times and, I'll say it again, he definitely got his groove back in the 90s. The look, the sound, the collaboration w/Jimmy Page, all worked in his favor. I've listened to most of the Zeppelin tunes and, I'm working through his solo career. I don't understand those who say his music sucked in the 80s. I have an opinion about his style, which wasn't my favorite, but the music was good. Different, but good. I can't wait to hear Now And Zen. I'm listening to The Principle Of Moments and No Quarter. Neither are bad and, I'm considering getting used copies. I'm trying to get Manic Nirvana through my library but no luck so far :(
His newest releases are transcendental. Robert still brings it in concert, I wish he would jettison the Zep numbers, great as they are, for his older solo songs. What a catalogue Plant has!
@@joeyhuebner10 jettison Zep! Your crazy!!!!! Lol!
@@normansawatzky4778- Not crazy at all. Simply put, everyone's heard Black Dog and Whole Lotta Love. Let those songs and other Zep staples breathe while bringing perspective to the lesser known quality output of Plants early solo career. It's not really a reach to ask for that. It makes sense more than anything, from an artistic perspective.
@@joeyhuebner10 Pretty sure he doesn't like some of the 80s stuff for some reason.
@@GTAfan421- I think that's with any artist who has great longevity. Some songs don't resonate as well, but listening to Robert's digging deep podcast highlighted a lot of beautifully written/ played songs (excluding Zep of course) that don't get the proper attention. Regardless, he just keeps pushing on into new territory.
Criminally underrated plant tune.. plants voice is huge on this performance. Nice to hear him singing so well in a live setting after all the problems he had with his voice on the mid 70s . He could have never hit all the high notes in the mid 70s like he did here. 1990 was a great year for his voice. This song is a very good indication of the direction zeppelin probably would have gone in . You can see 2 of jimmy pages les pauls in the background.
Maybe my fav post Zep track by Robert. I recorded this on VHS tape when it first came out (MTV?) It's probably still kicking around in a closet somewhere. Nice to see it remastered. They don't make music like this anymore
This tops is all for performances by Robert Plant damn!!!! This was wicked awesome!!
Percy always knew how to dress!! 😀
Absolutely fucking brilliant album 😎

Catching air guitar guy at 2:27 just as the solo starts was brilliant timing and editing.
Favorite song from the album.

I was there. Plant, and later , when Page joined him were great. That’s the only reason I drove down from Scotland to see the gig. But when Phil Collins and Genesis took the stage, the Knebworth Field erupted. British main stream audience didn’t really know much about the Zepp. Still don’t.

Amazing performance, still has the same effect on me as when I first heard it. The musicianship is superb. He was born August 20th and my birthday is the 21st so something a little in common which is pretty neat. I would love to see him in concert.
