Grew up watching this show Lace and without a doubt he is a rarity few actors/comedians have been able to splinter into so many different characters that gave life to the Martin Lawrence Show!
Old school...89.. the gear,. looking back in the day I must have paid over 1000,000 in threads see 8balls were selling like hotcakes..25,000. To 50,000 an hour... Cash cash wish I learn about Yahoo.. Facebook right.now
crysjumar1 Cause Martin's characters, no matter how crazy they were, were always relatable. Add the great comedic timing and improv skills of the cast and you got yourself an iconic show.
Smply Amzng I know I miss this stuff...comics now aren’t that funny. Dave chapelle was the last best comic since Martin..other than that, there’s a bunch of wanna - be’s
💯 It projected the realness of Black America during that time: young, funny, and hip…while still intelligent, loyal, and career-minded: *5 “true” friends with 2 being in a serious, loving relationship, not just screwing.* It’s seems like people don’t even have deep relationships or even friendships like that now. It’s sad.
Jerome was a very entertaining character, with the one sock up, one sock down! I'm Done 😂😂😂 he reminds us of some of our kinfolk at the Family reunions!
On everything 😂he remind me of my uncle Ronald. With the perms hair , big as rings on keep a comb lol. We from DC uptown n Martin from around the way as well so his characters were close to home fr
Martin re-runs always give me that laugh I need! Had someone tell me once before that this show was not funny. You have to be out of your damn mind to think Martin wasn't funny.
The irony that Jerome spoke in their language telling them good luck trying to cash that check he gave them... And right behind the owner you can see a sign saying " sorry, no checks. " 😭😭😭
Martin was at his best when he was allowed to be himself. His best lines are unscripted. Martin was so good that writers couldn't really write for him. If he had more creative freedom in his movies, he'd be one of the top grossing actors. Martin was/is a Willlllllld Boy!
Jerome: What's up "Bob Marley", don't look at me like that; I didn't shoot the sheriff! Have you ever heard of an "hot comb; you got to press it out"! Hilarious! Let me get a pack of "extra large condoms"; the kind you dream about! You're name must be bunny; because you look so fluffy! "MCM" leather short outfit with red socks, and rocking the old school Mercedes Benz gold medallion! Only "Jerome Martin Lawrence"! Comedy awesomeness forever! I remember growing up as a young teenager in the 1990s, living in the Crown heights/Flatbush neighborhoods of Brooklyn, NY watching the "Martin" show every Thursday night on Fox Channel 5! I remember one time when "Martin" was outshining the "Seinfeld" show on thursday night ratings! God bless the "1990s" forever! Thank you so much for this upload!
Well man man this was the show back then in the 90s I can't believe the show still popular as it was in the 90s my favorite comedian , actor this man did a brilliant hard talented work !
Thank you for that! Don't get me wrong, I love Will Smith (his rapping is underrated), but I hate how people put Will over Martin. Martin Lawrence doesn't get enough great for his talent.
Something I love about Martin is a real minute detail I've noticed over the years. At times when a main character quips or roast an extra they have ZERO dialog or response so the joke and audience laughter can play out COMPLETELY. They usually makes some kind of physical gesture and leaves the scene. I can't think of any other sitcom that did it quite like that.
Wow Pam self esteem must have been lower than ant shit to go out with Jerome! LOL!!!!!!! Jerome is definitely my favorite Martin character hands down!!
You know as you get older you appreciate this man even more because you realize he's one of a kind...
Yessssssssssssssssss that's true !!!!!!! Martin
Yup yr Right about that
No. You realize youre becoming him and you can relate. Myself included
Grew up watching this show Lace and without a doubt he is a rarity few actors/comedians have been able to splinter into so many different characters that gave life to the Martin Lawrence Show!

30 years later I’m still laughing. Back when one had to have REAL talent to be on TV
Congratulations, you have finally turned into your parents.
@@tobietera Funny you say that..Martin was the only show which made my parents laugh out loud. It’s a testament to Martin talent!
Yes sir. Damn near every thing is garbage
@@tobietera right 😂😂 that comment is interesting too because there's tons of good shows on tv now. And there's so many ways to watch shows🤔🤔
Yessss the same here! 😅
To really appreciate Jerome you had to know the Jeromes in your neighborhood around the way. Real Old Skool.
Exactly

@@TheJriggins0071 if you find it, lemme know
My cousins that are in their 20s ask so many questions about that MCM short suit
My daddy would rock it right now!
MCM was lit in the 80s so it was kind of a dig at Jerome for his delayed ass style lol
Martin is my favorite all time comedic actor. He was on another level for sure.
Yep, way ahead of his time and criminally underrated!
was he the first to literally play so many roles at once? dude was funny lol
@@terryautry6493no. He actually payed homage to the comic Flip Wilson
Jerome was such a Player he could speak multiple languages.
He told his nephew, Snoop that he could mack in different languages. First one, Chinese. Second one, Spanish.
@@MGillDesign Factz i didn’t know bout Spanish

crysjumar1 Cause Martin's characters, no matter how crazy they were, were always relatable. Add the great comedic timing and improv skills of the cast and you got yourself an iconic show.

we should all strive to be jerome
That always gets me when Jerome unexpectedly starts talking in the store owners' language--and the looks on their faces. Comedy gold.
I swear somebody had to have a camera following my brother Tommy. Because I swear he is Jerome.
Jesus pam was hot af

This never gets old 😂
I remember we'd be ballin up, & moms be like Martin on tv! The block would all be at home watching Martin lol
one of the most underrated shows of all time
Man I miss the 90’s like crazy
Pam has such a soulful laugh.
What's up Bob Marley, look here man don't look @ me like that I didn't shoot the sheriff. Hahaha too funny Martin is hilarious.

Pam must have been lonely as hell to cross that line.
My favorite character from Martin, A Jerome movie must happen.
man tat would ta shit, man,,twin out tat funk,lb . staying down,
The part when Jerome spoke there language and rip them off of their beer
What about Otis and dragon fly
“Call me, if you need someone to talk to”. An excellent reference to a great song by Skyy in 1981. “Call me”. It’s worth a listen.
I remember Skyy! I love that song "DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE WAY YOU FEEL!"
LOL Jerome in his MCM Short set. This is madness
LMAO Short set - Man he had me dying with that
+B Chill LOL but seriously though, it's a short set...

You cant even see her body so what are you talking about. If pam dressed the same way as the cashier wife you wouldn't even be saying all of that 😂💀
I love when Jerome used to say “ look here how come you cant call nobody.” Martin a comic genius.!!!!’nn
One of the perks of getting older is you don't mind being yourself 😂
"Your name must be bunny, cause you look so fluffy."
Are you for real?
He had the best pickup lines
So sweet like Hunny.
It's ironic that Rashidi took a check from Jerome but is standing in front of a sign that says "No Checks! No Exceptions" Bruh had it coming...
Maestro Townsend ..they do make exceptions for international players only😎
Ha, True but Rashidi knows what time it is..see that dap he shared with Jerome, lmao.
Love Pam's laugh when she laughs at Jerome.
Hilarious he got the summer version of the MCM sweatsuit. In other episodes he has the long version
The laugh would make the average man feel small.
See who's the fool when you try cashing the check I gave you. 😂😂😂
Baladan baladan
He's an international player from the Himalaya's
Love her laughing
"girl i'm realler than a $2 bill."
