I started viewing this video without knowing the game author....then I searched for it in Amazon cause it´s great and ohhh surprise !! It had to be him...Phil Walker-Harding!!! Simply a genius. Hi from Spain and congratulations for these awesome gamenights!

Silver and Gold is a great little game! I've had the NSV version since May and it has gotten a lot of after-dinner plays. Having players work on two maps at once really makes the game click. Thank you for the play through!

The rules state “The eight expedition cards are also shuffled and placed next to the displayed cards as a face down deck of expedition cards.” And as someone else pointed out, “All the revealed expedition cards are stacked on top of each other during a round. You are not allowed to look in the deck to see which expedition cards have already been revealed.”

I heard alot about this. Looks neat. I like noch mal which is dice drafting based. This flip and fill looks fun.
Rule clarification:
1. It is not allowed to completely skip crossing out any fields on a turn.
2. During the course of a round, all revealed Expedition Cards are stacked on top of each other. It is not allowed to look through the stack of revealed cards, in order to determine which Expedition Cards have already been revealed.
Thanx for pointing out the 2nd rule - cause thats important, makes planning harder, I never remember what had already come up :-P

This game looks like a fun alternative to Welcome To! Nikki reminds me of Deborah Ann Woll from True Blood.

Additional rule at the 9:10 mark. You can also place a single x on the card to skip using the flipped card. (I was going nuts looking for that instruction during the teach, :D )

I own it and its loads of fun - you could get it from Germany because cards are completely language neutral and for the rules - just watch Dave :-D
