    I was staying in a friend's flat for free in Krakow when I pulled the chain off a roller blind. How embarrassing! Thanks to you I was able to fix it. Even better, the owner need never find out what a klutz I am! 😂🎉

    There are several other videos offering different methods. None of which worked for me. This one worked perfectly with the proviso that I had to squeeze the ear end with a pair of needle pliers while easing off the other end with a flat blade screwdriver. Job done. Thanks.

    Chain fix for RollerBlind. In case you are here to reattach the chain for a Louvolite Shade System 40 clutch R3025, this is what you do
    Remove blind - steps to do this:
    - roll up blind (if you can with a little force, but not essential), push chain end in a direction it will move a little, usually up, push toward other end., it should now be detachable from chain end)
    Once removed, roll up blind if is not already
    Pull out mechanism on chain end from the roller tube - the whole chain enclosure mechanism should slide out - use a flathead screwdriver to ease out if necessary.
    Remove the plastic pin from point at the end, prise out with a small Phillips screwdriver in the hole if can't do manually
    Replace the chain - if it has a joiner the make sure it is placed close the mechanism on the side where the chain is chain is will drop down.
    Reverse process to refit.
    Note: the three lugs on the chain end should be faced upright, ensure blind is facing correct direction.

    How do I remove the slide lock from the end of the blind!!!

    • @LouvoliteBlinds
      @LouvoliteBlinds  Před 8 měsíci

      Hello Sally - the side lock can be pulled straight off of the tube, if it is sticking however, try prying it out using a flathead screwdriver.

    I've got one like this but it won't squeeze together enough to slide out, and it's partially enclosed making it hard to even use tweezers, let alone pliers to squeeze it, what can I do?

    • @LouvoliteBlinds
      @LouvoliteBlinds  Před rokem

      Hi Jamie, there could be a black plug you need to remove first - this is found between the two jaws in the centre section at 0:25. If you're still having trouble, email us an image at tech.support@louvolite.com and we'll get back to you with a fix. Thanks.
