I use my laptop as a desktop and I have a separate monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers and I noticed that my laptop has been running hot and loud (fan high). I realized that if its screen is not opened, it doesn't have a lot of air circulation to cool it off. So, I decided to get a laptop stand and to minimize the footprint of the laptop, I decided to go with a vertical laptop stand.
