  • Today I went through my experience for my first month taking Creatine! I just wanted to give my real and honest experience and tried to debunk a few Creatine myths while I was at it. If you are considering taking Creatine, I would say go for it! Obviously everyone can have a different reaction to taking supplements, so I would say just try it out and see what it does for you, if anything!

    Finally a girl talking about creatine💓
    I been taking creatine since 2019 and i notice a huge difference when i'm taking it, especially i have more strength. Only side effects I had (while doing a creatine loading phase) i was too thirsty , bloating, nausea it usually takes two weeks for the side effects to go away
    I prefer micronized creatine over creatine monohydrate because taking micronized I never had side effects, it’s also purer and soluble

Personally, I’ve realised that recording my food helps me keep track of how much protein, carbs or fat etc I have each day and if I didn’t have enough protein for example I should just have a little more. HELLO!! I have a question and if you are watching this video you probably are interested in fitness and my be able to answer my question:
    I am a 15 year old female who swims 14 hours a week competitively. Im very skinny and never put on muscle. I have started lifting (safely) weights by going to gym and working out at home to try and put on muscle. Part of the reason is I want to gain muscle for aesthetic reasons, but mainly I just want to get stronger and I think this will improve my swimming as well. HOWEVER on the creatine jar it says not for use by minors. I did some research and all I can find is that its nkt reccomended but not why, however there were a lot of people saying they started taking creatine at my age and not having bad side effects and reccomending it, so does anybody know why/why not to take creatine at 15?

    • @sarahmartin4260
      @sarahmartin4260 Před rokem +1

      My guess would be that it can be abused easily by teens, and if you don’t know how to use it, it could cause damage in some way. Take my answer with a grain of salt tho because I’m also your age and just now trying it out for my sport aswell! I relate to your situation almost exactly, but I also have running as a sport so Im trying to fight the weight loss from all that freaking cardio.

    I’ve been lifting for years and started taking creatine three weeks ago. I also started eating more, especially more protein. These are the only things I have done differently, and I am able to lift crazy amounts more than I was before starting creatine and upping my protein.
    I told my sister who is a bikini competitor, and an RN, and she said that it was unrelated, but that she was happy for me.
    She is very main stream, and like most main stream, conventional practitioners, they do not consider field studies/anecdotal evidence anymore because of their brainwashing lol.
    Don’t get me wrong, just because I am completely holistic doesn’t mean I don’t love my sister, but I feel like she is big time wrong about this. I know my body really well, and have never had this experience in strength and growth and I’m 50 years old.

    • @nickyyrenee
      @nickyyrenee  Před rokem +6

      Hi! I would say both are important but overall protein intake is more essential to muscle and glute growth than creatine. In order to see glute growth you need to create a consistent routine that incorporates progressive overload (increasing weights,reps,etc.). I would say training 2 times a week is all you need to see growth as long as you are increasing the weight/reps each session. Making sure you are eating enough food in general is huge too!

    I’m a ftm(transmasc), but still having the same hormones and body function as a woman i found this incredibly interesting, I tried to load very gently, I did 10 mg instead of like 25 like some ppl do. I found it causes me to suffer horrible constipation and diarrhea somehow at the same time. Tho i can say it did increase my appetite. But i wasn’t seeing great results after 3 weeks? Why? Bc I wasn’t drinking enough. I would drink either a 16 oz cup with just my creatine, or a 32oz with electrolytes added as well. but that’s it. Outside of that I didn’t drink water as I found myself to get waterlogged after even just a couple drinks. Those who are coming back from an ED or have problems eating i suggest to take the creatine in a small glass and drink a big boi water bottle with it, for us smaller ppl it’s good to drink about a gallon extra which is still a lot i know. But with creatine you’re supposed to drink about 2 liters of water a day. that’s a lot fr. So for those of you who are small like me (104Ibs 5’3) It’s best to jsut drink as much as you can. You may not see results as fast but it will still woke for you.
