Without a narrative grounded in reality, what’s the point in watching it?
Havent seen it yet, but they say it doesnt really take sides but portrays it through the jounalists eyes. The timing is kinda spooky in light of how angry americans are with this government right now.
It is biased (though subtle). The timing is deliberate... that's what makes it 'spooky.'
It takes the eyes of a bunch of Chinese led 'Western Interests' that apparently all banded together behind America's back to attack it from it's neighbors. (Canada/Mexico, etc)
The 'press' in the movie are a bunch of Obama era crackhead journalists that are hyped up as much as the meth troopers on Putin's front line. Look close. There's a video of a Russian news press randomly running into a Ukrainian trench. It's the same situation. It only get's fully exposed when the spotter sniper comments directly on their apparent lack of intellect. This then get's blown home when you see slow motion shots of people executing black bagged, uniformed soldiers. Nevermind them going and literally admitting that they don't know what their enemies motivations are at all (nevermind being able to communicate/talk at an elementary level) or that they will shoot politicians on sight. Extremely authoritarian.
The icing on the cake is when the Chinese spies are just sending Africans in first to bait the enemy..
The little girl plays the same role as the stupid guy in Saving Private Ryan. She's an awful and despicable character that completely succumbs to their most basic human nature. She got hooked on the 'exciting' Communism... Even though part of it was getting excited over her own caregiver dying for her!!! Imagine that. Now she's as unlikeable as a coward in war.
Doesn't play sides? I saw them as clear as night and day. Unlike the Obama reporters that needed other people to tell them because they're actually, unironically autistic. Which is kind of funny since people don't understand it at all.
A bunch of sex workers travelling the countryside for their jollies playing for sex appeal every chance they got!! Mass murder be damned!! Why? They-dont-care. Money/sex is on the line! These people will take half a decade to grow up in the middle of hell before they decide to be human beings again when the money/sex wears off! The Nazi's and Commies have a hell of a track record. Also didn't the Joel character try to hit on the little girl? Lol.

The movie literally insinuates that Canada is a prime instigator (with China behind it), but OK. I totally haven't lived in a police state with actually joke politics for the last 30 years.
ALso haven't met many Canadians that either don't know that Trudeau declared the Canadian flag a fascist symbol or that unironically use it to show pride in Canada.

thank you for the amaizing recap because i wasnt sure if i wanted to see this movie becuase i thought it was another race bating Biden leftest lie of a movie! But it seems like its not so i think i will go see it!
better find some more reviews - you might be disappointed.
