Brought the compressor in the shop to finish off. It's been on the back burner for two years now, so time to finish it off.:) Here's a quick look at it and a little 2-53 action.:)
Lol, yes I swapped one into my Allis Chalmers forklift as well. The compressor will be the last industrial swap.:) After this one it's a 1947 DiamondT.:)
How do I tell if mine is a silver or not I have a 353 with the four-speed transmission that I bought as a unit that supposedly came out of a truck but I have no idea what year it is or what it came out of the unit number is 3D6274
None of these that I've ever worked on have anything marked where it says rated horsepower this three-cylinder just says maximum rpm no load 3000 RPM Governor mechanism is a type 590 which I'm assuming is a single weight limited speed throttle lever and a fuel shut off and my blower also has a mechanical shut valve on it I wish I knew of some place that I could go to where they would give what the engine codes mean all of my older manuals are gone except for the one I am thinking that my 4-cylinder generator set is a 471 not a 453 it has a casting on the block of 12 of 57 the four cylinder has the two spin on nuts that hold the valve cover on the three cylinder has a 4 bolt flange around the edge of the valve cover any information you could give me would be a great help I hope I'm not being a pain in the ass
@@mikemarczynski6906 No problem, if you send me a picture of the engine and serial number I can look it up and see what year it is. I can send you the manual as well. My email is emerald310@gmail.com.:)
Wow, you cleaned out a lot of stuff in that shop. Couldn't even see the floor before. 😂😂
True, took a long time and still need to clean more.:)
Time to get it finished!!! Thanks!!
Very true.:)
