- For the past few weeks, many of us have been theorizing about cryptic instructions that were being left all over the Welcome Home website. WELL! The website has just updated giving us some answers, and I’m here today to discuss and dissect it!

So I looked around the website and hovered over the little drawings where the instructions were placed. Here's what I found:
"write hello" drawing: "Hello"
"write ok." drawing: "I did not write it. I did something else. I know who these neighbours are. Do you like them too?"
"move Barnaby" drawing: "Do you like Barnaby here?"
"turn The Playfellow Exhibition upside down" drawing: "I did not know what to do. I think this is correct. Is it homewarming where you are? Happy Homewarming."
The part about "homewarming" is making me think a lot lol
When Wally writes "Hello" if you zoom out he makes houses out of the stickers over the eyes on the right and Home on the bottom. That's the only page where Home is there.
@@randomperson-ix9xc I completely forgot you could zoom in and out the website, and it is true, u can see houses made from the stickers. That's defo interesting, for sure
Homewarming... Interesting name for a Christmas-inspired holiday...
EDIT: More importantly, you can find where Barnaby was moved to by zooming out.

I think behind home is warming, like you know the black goo and the spiral thing that keeps growing and growing, just a theory. Idk
Actually, Howdy says that chalk is not something that Wally does, but is something Julie does. In one of the letters on the merchandise page, Howdy writes to wally that his paint is in stock claiming, "You go through this stuff faster than Julie goes through chalk".
It’s might be crayon. And I think each character will write in a different color. There was a place where each character gave their signature. Each character had a different color except home and Wally who both have red. Either suggested they are one and the same or Wally just didn’t want Home to feel left out. So what I think is that the other character won’t write in red. It’s at the bottom of the guestbook page the “thanks for visiting part”
I personally starting to think that maybe that the other neighbors are going to start communicating with us for one reason if you click on Sally’s image and you put it in a new tab, it will say Ididnotunderstandandyou instead of her name so maybe that will happen with all of them soon

Something i noticed in the last update is that occasionally when switching pages the background turns into the pattern on Sally's sleeves, which to me confirms that there is something going on with her.

There's another instruction that you missed! and perhaps the most puzzling one
back in November, before Wally responded, the secret urls you get from adding all the misplaced letters together (ex: woxyve) had the word "delete" added to the end, you could still put the url in as normal but once you hit enter it was added automatically (ex: woxyve turned into woxyvedelete). After this newest update, the urls were changed again and now add nodelete (ex: woxyvenodelete) meaning that Wally refused to do this task.
I wonder if the person who sent Wally those instructions was the WHRP as a whole or just one person. If it is just one person, I imagine that the person and the neighbors will work together to try to stop whatever is causing the bad events in Welcome Home.

You know how clown said that if there was a song that the two could totally vibe to? Yea I found it, it's Esperar Pra Ver by evinha and since it's in Portuguese / Spanish, I translated it and oh my god the song was telling their story.
I'm saving you some time but it means that one day I received an EXTRAVAGANT LETTER and it said that you DIED" hmmmmm now where have we heard that before?? Oh yeah! Frank receives a neon red letter that seemed like it's a normal everyday (totally not a love letter) letter but then it reads the following "Dear Frank
I'm sorry I can't go home, but now I am dead. Thank you my dear for everything but I can't be with you now but we will meet again.
I love you
Eddie Dear"
And no wonder why in that image where Frank was holding that letter and surrounded in his own body parts I believe the human hands holding the letter is who is the Human counterpart to Frank(HEAD CANON: I believe dorelaine based his characters off of his crew) but why is he protecting the letter? Because to keep it in memory for his husband cuz Frank didn't believe that Eddie died in vain, so he needed to go into the void to reunite with his love.
Wooo! Sorry for it being wordy, but I think that song paints a whole new story for the frankly dear ship amiright? Next up is Joyful Starlet.

I personally thought the “reverse this image of Sally” request/command? Would end up reversing the image’s colors, which would somehow hint to a “night mode” moon version of Sally who is blue (because blue would sort of be the opposite color of yellow in a reversed image). I was not expecting the end result, but now I’m even more curious… what is Sally doing behind the curtain? Getting dressed and ready for something, perhaps…?

Tbh I fell out of this fandom a while ago but I love mystery’s. So I like to keep updated and watch these:) I just don’t understand a lot if it’s a real show or not.
It isnt a real show. Never was. Its a horror passion project made my Clown that is based off of the 1970s time period.

3:10 i think this is supposed to represent acting (since that’s sallys job) and how she may be playing a different character and this is her when she’s backstage. i think that adds up but that’s just my theory 🤷
I gotta agree with everyone else, it kind of seems like either the neighbors are talking, or this is showing an example of Wally being controlled by something and slowly following its instructions and commands, no matter how silly they are.
I’m currently watching this with my Wally Darling Plushie that just came in. Lil bro was flabbergasted👀
I have a feeling that Home is trying to see what he can make Wally do to communicate...and those commands have been there for a month and now they finally have a place. We need MatPat here already, the lore bell is ringing
So then according to the additional info found in the comments the team isn’t communicating with Wally. This could be Home. We know they have the same “handwriting.” You guys are so smart!!

I stick to my theory the neighbors are running the restoration team a their communicating with Wally, reversing Sally’s image may hiding her conversing with Wally maybe…..is Wally’s still there on the side of the website

@@theinfinityforce8218 Infinity…now this is just a small observation but Julie is the one who always has chalk on hand drawing hopscotch patterns, my theory of the WHRP remains but now I think its not just Wally wanting out…but the whole neighborhood. Wally is speaking for all the neighbors.

On the home page if you go to guestbook a drawing of a text bubble saying "hello" appears as is wally is saying it😊
From all the hints there are, there is one thing we all know now. The curtains are going to close on Sally Starlet.

I KNEW that those messages were important to the Restoration Team, or the Question Answerer, asking Wally to fully contact him and keep breaking down the barrier so he can get through and get the help he and his friends need!
Did anyone else notice Home was lowered? Am I tripping or is it like something that fr happened??/gen
I Don't know if anyone has done this yet but if you zoom out the website you can see where Barnaby went but you can also see wally in a house with home on the stickers page and one of the eyes is in a house

If you click to open the image of the reversed Sally, the address reads "I do not understand does this help you" meaning whoever reversed the image wasn't sure what they meant by reverse.
Also, the website has been taken down (by Clown again) for the next update!

I found Barnaby's name in the transcript on the right side of the page if you back out a little bit. Basically out of bounds like the eyes you see at the top out of bounds
I think the whole instructions thing was left by someone who figured out someone was messing with the webpage and seeing what they were capable of changing. I dont think whoever is instucting wally knows its actually wally

Honestly, something that gets me in particular about the “reverse the image of Sally” bit is that like.
The other things were movements of elements on the site plus some drawings- but with the picture of Sally, like. You can’t just flip an existing digital image to show a side that was never drawn- like, why would an artist go through all this effort in universe to draw the back of the curtain and the stand and everything if it wasn’t part of the image?
No, this is something the Website Editor was able to access that normal repositioning-stuff-on-a-website stuff wouldn’t allow, implying that they have access to something like being able to move around the object in 3D space/make this element change in a way that would be impossible if this was just about the website itself/ what we see on the website itself was all that existed?? (That or they’re just. Really good at mimicking the original artstyle)
*Oh, or they have access to some kinda turnaround and this picture of Sally was like. Part of a group of concept art or something, but like- idk the other answers are more fun-
Wait- actually come to think of it, that’d also be weird though, wouldn’t it? Because- like, it having somehow been accessable via web elements Alone would mean that lore wise. Like, all of the images we see- this is the crew restoring and scanning art to archive it, they put concept art up before- if they had concept art of Sally including a turnaround of the stage image used in her description then- Why didn’t they have that up as-is, why is this not only a different perspective of this image but *a unique version of this image*, *where did this picture come from*???
Wally is just fucking up the web page simply because he follow simple instructions very literally.

THEORY! What if those “instructions” were for Wally.. HEAR ME OUT! Because when it says “Write hello” underneath it is a hello but in Wally’s writing. Think about it… when the guestbook was still open Wally would write back to you OR give an image and he always wrote in chalk/crayon in that same font! 🤯 maybe- or not who knows! Maybe I’m just going crazy 😀
